Dragnet presents “Second Hand Killer,” episode 19 of the classic radio series, originally broadcast on October 6, 1949. Starring Jack Webb as Sgt. Joe Friday alongside Barton Yarborough as Sgt. Ben Romero, this early NBC-era episode is set in the Los Angeles Police Department’s jurisdiction.

Friday and Romero investigate a homicide case after two police officers are shot down, following the evidence through a tense Los Angeles police investigation.

Dragnet presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
