Divine Mercy Radio is a lay apostolate dedicated to sharing the truth and beauty, and the love and joy of the Catholic faith primarily through radio. Our mission is to strengthen Catholics in their faith, to invite fallen-away Catholics back to the faith, and to inform non-Catholics of the gospel of Jesus through programming which proclaims His message of truth, mercy, and love.

This summer Divine Mercy Kids is learning about the virtues with help from our animal friends in Aesop’s Fables. We will spend the next few months with the lions and tigers and bears (oh my!) as they show us how to live and how not to live virtuously. In each of our Summer episodes, we will read and discuss an Aesop’s fable, its corresponding virtue, and a Catholic Saint that exhibited that virtue.

Kids! Your challenge for this week is: Learn about Saint Zita!

    Book: Aesop’s Fables Interactive Book

Welcome to The Hallowed Dead, a brand-new local show, written and produced by our newest host, Kevin Sullivan!

The Hallowed Dead is an anthology of the lives of the saints. We can all draw wisdom, courage, and inspiration from the lives of people who surrendered everything to God. These men and women embraced sacrifice, endured suffering, and lived with a clarity that comes only from knowing Christ is King. Their stories challenge us. They invite us to look inward, to measure our own lives against eternity, and to remember that everything this world has to offer is nothing compared to the kingdom of heaven.

"The sun rose over Auschwitz on July 30, 1941, without mercy. The camp siren had split the morning air before dawn had fully broken, and thousands of prisoners stumbled from their barracks into the muddy courtyard. They stood in rigid formation, silent, hollow-eyed, starving. The night before, a prisoner had escaped, and under Nazi policy, that meant one thing. Ten men would die in his place.

From within the ranks, from among thousands who knew that stepping out of line meant instant death, one man quietly removed his cap. He stepped forward, not in a panic or desperation, but with calm. His name was Father Maximilian Kolbe, a Polish Franciscan friar."
