On this week’s show, Peter would like to talk about the ever-declining Donald Trump while Sarah (and Peter) will be positing their manifesto ideas that could help propel any of the major parties to power. Probably.

And we’ll be opening our mailbag to ask whether we are seeing the end of people reading actual books. How the pair react to sometimes ‘feral’ criticism. Marvel at the fact that we have a rollerblading Floridian fan in Key West and ask when’s the right time to clean a building. Truly.

On our reading, listening and watch list this week:

• A Toccata of Galuppi's – Robert Browning
• Lost Horizon – James Hilton
• The Benedict Option – Rob Dreher
• The Strange Death Of Liberal England – George Dangerfield
• The Deluge: The Great War and the Remaking of the Global Order, 1916–1931 - Adam Tooze
