All we need is more of this
Loved it. Mr.Sachet is awesome. His story about Peace is inspirational. Going around the world and asking people about their struggles with religion ,war, terrorism, forgiveness ....it has to be said 9 billion times, taught in schools, written down on billboards...we need more of this...and we might live in piece...one day..Do listen and talk about to your friends.

interesting, wish it had pictures
because David is travelling though Israel, Jerusalem, i found myself wishing it had film. he has a fantastic narrators voice though and describes his surroundings for us over the busy traffic noise. covers the three Abrahami religions as a personal exploration because David has both Jewish and Christian heritage.

Fantastic, fascinating and informative
I would have happily paid for this, it's great. David Suchet approaches the subject and people with an open mind, and I learned a lot about all three Abrahamic faiths. You don't have to be religious to get something out of this, it's about the story of humankind and how (hopefully) we can one day live in peace. As others have pointed out he is also a fantastic narrator.

A conflicted review....
I really want to give this 5 stars, as David and all his guests were excellent, open, and evocative.
I cried more than once.
In a world of agendas and media bias, it was the ideal platform and time to give the lesser heard people involved in 9/11, the Irish Troubles and Israel a voice.
My only two suggestions are: an episode near the start to explain the history of the sectarian and religious divides explored in the series, so I could recommend it to people looking for a good starting place to educate themselves.
And: an episode nearer the end that goes more into depth on the domestic and foreign atrocities done in the name of false gods, as I feel this would really set up the heartwarming and optimistic final 2 episodes.
All that said, I loved the series and would like to hear more podcasts in a philosophical or political vein from the team involved.
