    In February 1998 the dismembered remains of an elderly man were found in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. The remains were in two suitcases found days apart and investigators determined all of the remains belonged to the same individual. The hands and head were not in either suitcase, preventing identification of the remains. The case went cold. Joseph Scott Morgan and Dave Mack take a look at what happened over 30 years and how Othram was able to identify the remains and in the process, identify the person who put the remains in the suitcases.

  • Piketon Massacre Part 2: Getting Away With Massacre: The Killer and Planner get Parole?

    The Piketon Massacre - 10 years later, Part 2. Joseph Scott Morgan and Dave Mack discuss what has been called the "Pike County Murders" "The Piketon Massacre" and other names - It was the murders of 8 people at 4 crime scenes in one night. The Wagner family of killers arrested just over two years after the massacre. Jake Wagner pleaded guilty to aggravated murder, conspiracy, aggravated burglary, tampering with evidence and other charges. As part of the plea Jake had to testify against his brother and father. In exchange for this, Jake would be sentenced to life without parole. But that did not happen. Jake Wagner was sentenced to life with possibility of parole after 32 years. The mother, Angela Wagner, took a plea deal and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. George Wagner IV was found guilty at trial and sentenced to eight consecutive life sentences and another121 years for other offenses. 10 years after the murders of the Rhoden family, 8 years after being arrested and charged, Billy Wagner, the Patriarch of the Wagner family still hasn't been tried. A trial date isn't even set, yet.
