  • Supreme Court Decisions Expected This Week; Dulles Airport Revamp
    Jun 28 2026

More opinions from the US Supreme Court are set for Monday, with key decisions yet to be announced on birthright citizenship and President Trump's attempt to fire Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook. This week, the Supreme Court found the government has broad power to act without judicial review, effectively allowing it to cancel Temporary Protected Status for 350,000 Haitians and 7,000 Syrians in the US.

Also this weekend, the White House wants to make Dulles International Airport great again, with President Donald Trump adding it to the list of venues and amenities in and around the capital he hopes to remake in his own image. The plan would transform Dulles by expanding the main terminal building, renovating or constructing concourses, and extending an underground train, with the goal of making it the best airport in the country.

On today’s show, Bloomberg This Weekend hosts David Gura, Christina Ruffini, and Lisa Mateo speak with:

    - Bloomberg News Supreme Court Reporter Greg Stohr, on the Supreme Court decisions expected to come this week.

    - Kriston Capps, Bloomberg CityLab Writer, on whether Dulles can become America's first world-class airport.

    - Students and teachers from Brooklyn Preparatory Academy, on how personal finance courses are benefitting the next generation.

    - Boston Globe Reporter Emily Sweeney, on Scottish fans are taking over Boston during the World Cup.

Plus, Christina, David, and Lisa discuss the stories you might have missed this week on BTW.

  • Tanker Struck in Hormuz; AI at the Ballot Box
    Jun 27 2026

The US attacked Iran one day after Tehran struck a commercial ship in the Strait of Hormuz, an exchange that threatened to break the fragile ceasefire between the two countries. US Central Command said that American aircraft on Friday hit Iranian missile and drone storage sites as well as coastal radar installations, calling it a “powerful response to yesterday’s attack.”

Also this weekend, artificial intelligence is barging into the workplace and transforming the battlefield. Now, it’s coming to the ballot box, promising to rewrite the DNA of politics.

On today’s show, Bloomberg This Weekend hosts David Gura, Christina Ruffini, and Lisa Mateo speak with:

    - Bloomberg News White House Correspondent Jeff Mason on today's attack in the Strait, coming after the US renewed strikes on Iran.

  • US-Iran Talks Begin in Switzerland
    Jun 21 2026
