Bitterness and Unforgiveness | Episode 4 — Already In You Podcast
Sometimes the hardest place to sit is in the silence between what you believed God would do and what's actually happening in your life. Even John the Baptist knew that feeling — sitting in a prison cell while Jesus was out healing the sick and raising the dead. He baptized Him. He pointed the crowds to Him. And now, from behind bars, he sent his disciples to Him with one question: "Are you the one, or should we expect someone else?"
That's offense. That's the quiet resentment that creeps in when God's timing doesn't match ours — when we're doing what He asked and it feels like everyone else is getting the miracle.
In Episode 4, we sit in John's cell for a minute. We talk about what it means to be offended at God without ever saying the word "offended." We'll look at what Jesus' answer to John actually reveals, and why the same power that kept John's calling secure is already in you too.
It's already in you. Let's walk in it.
