  • Special Guest: Jacob Bridgeman | Episode 185
    30 Oct 2026

In this episode, the guys interview Jacob Bridgeman, 2-time Tour Winner and 2026 Presidents Cupper, about his breakout year, his walk with the Lord, who he likes learning from, and the faith that sustains him on and off the course.

Jacob Bridgeman is a South Carolina native and Clemson grad with 5 collegiate wins, ACC Player of the Year, and two-time All-American. He finished second in PGA Tour U to earn his Korn Ferry Tour card, then top 15 in his first KFT season to earn full PGA Tour membership.

His breakout win came at Riviera in February at the Genesis Invitational. He held a six-shot lead in the final round playing alongside Rory. Then, just before the Presidents Cup, he won again in Asheville at the Biltmore, 26 under par. He was selected by Brandt Snedeker for the Presidents Cup and had the clinching point for Team USA.

The guys ask Jacob about his putting. He is #1 in Strokes Gained: Putting in 2026. They cover what makes it special, how much is gifting versus practice, and what advice he has for golfers looking to improve.

Then the conversation shifts to faith. Jacob shares how and when he trusted Christ, what difference his faith practically makes in how he approaches golf, preparation, success, failure, and pressure, and who the guys are on Tour he most enjoys learning from as a believer.

Jacob's favorite verse: James 1:19. "Let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger."

The episode closes with a Quick 9, including his favorite book outside the Bible, his dream foursome, and one piece of advice for a young golfer on golf and faith.

  • Working Like a Fool | Episode 184
    23 Oct 2026

In this episode on our series in the book of Proverbs, the guys discuss what it looks like to work wisely.

What can I learn from an ant?

Ben had another great week on Tour with a 5th place finish, moving him to 9th on the points list. The guys also shout out the Korn Ferry players who are now Tour Bound — including 19-year-old Blades Brown, who played his way onto the PGA Tour instead of starting his freshman year of college. Featured Group Leaders Jeff and Jerry both submitted golf questions this week.

Before diving into Proverbs, William lays a biblical foundation: work shows up in Genesis before the Fall, before a companion, before a command. God made man to work — and it was good. But sin changed things. Work became hard, and with that hardness came temptation.

Proverbs calls the lazy person the sluggard — a word Solomon uses with sarcasm. Three ways sluggards operate: they procrastinate ("a little sleep, a little slumber"), they make excuses ("there is a lion outside!"), and they pursue what is worthless instead of what matters.

The consequences are real. Proverbs 6:10-11 warns that poverty comes like a robber. Laziness doesn't just bankrupt your finances — it can bankrupt your relationships, your health, and your sense of purpose.

But Solomon doesn't leave us there. His remedy? Go to the ant. No boss, no ruler, no coach — just a creature that prepares before the harvest and works her plan. That's diligence. And diligence, Proverbs says, leads to provision, to responsibility, and to blessing others.

Finally, the New Testament takes it further. Colossians 3:23-24 says to work heartily, as for the Lord — not for money, success, or approval, but for Jesus Christ Himself. Work done that way carries eternal reward.

  • Angry Fools | Episode 183
    16 Oct 2026

In this episode, William Kane, Ben Crane, and Webb Simpson are in Week 7 of the book of Proverbs.

Sinful anger does great damage to others while also leaving us totally vulnerable. And how do we change?

In this episode from the book of Proverbs, the guys discuss the topic of sinful anger. Sinful anger does damage to ourselves and others, and wise people work to become slow to anger.

Michael Brennan, the Demon Deacon, gets his third win in Japan! Jacob Bridgeman finished 2nd.

Mailbag: Jeremy asks about fixing his hip rotation at impact, getting that tour professional look with two cheeks at impact and the trail arm bent against the side. Daniel asks for book recommendations for a mid-30s dad trying to grow in his faith and raise kids to know Christ. Nick shares a struggle with extending the same grace to himself that he extends to others when he messes up.

Bible Study: Week 7 in Proverbs on the topic of sinful anger. "A man of quick temper acts foolishly" (Proverbs 14:17). Sinful anger travels in many forms: hot anger, cold anger, and covert anger. "A man of wrath stirs up strife, and one given to anger causes much transgression" (Proverbs 29:22). "A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls" (Proverbs 25:28).

Sinful anger is foolish. It leaves us vulnerable and damages others. But wise people work to become slow to anger. Seven ways to get there:

    - Find Your Why. "What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you?" (James 4:1). Under all sinful anger is idolatry, the temporary worship of something other than God.

    - Familiarize Yourself with the Father. God reveals Himself as "merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness" (Exodus 34:6-7). "Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him" (1 Timothy 1:16).

    - Focus on the Cross. "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). He was making peace, not war, with His enemies.

    - Forfeit Freaking Out. "Do not say, 'I will repay evil'; wait for the Lord, and he will deliver you" (Proverbs 20:22). "The beginning of strife is like letting out water, so quit before the quarrel breaks out" (Proverbs 17:14).

    - Fall in Love with Grace. "Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense" (Proverbs 19:11). "Whoever covers an offense seeks love" (Proverbs 17:9).

    - Friends Matter. "Make no friendship with a man given to anger, nor go with a wrathful man, lest you learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare" (Proverbs 22:24-25). "Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise" (Proverbs 13:20).

    - Fuel Your Passion. "The righteous are bold as a lion" (Proverbs 28:1). "Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord" (Romans 12:11).

"Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city" (Proverbs 16:32).
