The idea is to drone you to sleep with boredom-
whilst maybe learning some small useless facts

it works.

Stories that are well crafted just for their soporific effect, to have enough interest to stop one’s mind from returning to thoughts that might hinder sleep, but not enough interest to keep one awake. Woven into the stories are words that subtly suggest an atmosphere of rest and relaxation.
Calming delivery.
I set my iPhone timer to stop playing after 25 minutes and every night I’m asleep before it stops.

I have tried, god knows, I have tried... but I can never get beyond he halfway point of 'Quilt Collecting' before falling asleep. I will never know how it ends! Brilliant idea.

Not bad, performance is decent enough. They do actually help you drop off and some are interesting. But like, you could just listen to literally ANY story you normally do and just set a sleep timer... Kinda pointless.
