About this listen

Bedtime stories are narrated by the world's most celebrated voices and written with no beginning, middle, or end so you don't stay up to hear what happens next. They're interesting enough to give your mind something to focus on, but delivered in a way that encourages sleep.

This is an Audible Original Podcast. Free for members. When you add Bedtime Stories from Audible Sleep to your library, you'll receive all previous episodes and will continue to receive new ones as they're released.

The pumpkin stew is my absolute favourite! I wish their was a whole collection like pumpkin stew.. dedicated to cookery.. Talking you through recipes, the smells, the preparation, even the little splashes of sauce! Genuis

Fantastic

I can’t believe that these stories work but they do. I actually fall asleep and never have made it to the end of one yet. My sleep has been so erratic recently so I thought I would try these. I firstly used the Pumpkin Stew and that had me asleep in no time. Then I’ve tried the Quilt Collecting and again, asleep in no time. Brilliant that they’re free for Audible members too. I’m enjoying my restful nights. And if I do wake in the night and can’t fall back to sleep, which I often do, then I put it back on and manage to nod off quickly again. Thoroughly recommended.

Brilliant!

The story itself is a bit bizarre, I agree with the previous review about it being seductive, especially over something like cooking a quick stew ha! however it did send me to sleep. I fell asleep before the story ended, so then the following night started back where I'd left off the night before and fell asleep before it ended again. so in that aspect if you want to fall asleep fast it's effective! I've found more so than other bedtime readings. once you get over the cringe of the sounds and descriptions, it's actually alright but initially it is a bit too much!

Effective for sleep!

These are brilliant, as others have said interesting enough that you are distracted from worry but not so much you don't sleep (except history of mathematics!). Love the musings of Marcus Aurelius - narrator is perfect to lull you to sleep.

More please!

I fell asleep before the story finished so it worked brilliantly for me and will listen again

Excellent for purpose
