Bacon, Marie Maloney, and Caleb George reunite to review the 2026 Netflix release Don't Say Good Luck, starring Sunny Sandler as a high school theater kid navigating her breakout role in Waitress while her mother faces a terminal cancer diagnosis. The trio breaks down whether Happy Madison's attempt at a grounded, Meyerowitz Stories-style drama succeeds or falls flat under the weight of "Nepo Baby" expectations.
    • The High School Theater Pipeline: Evaluating the hyper-relatable theater kid tropes, awkward stage-kissing protocols, and high school drama politics.
    • The New Jersey Twin-Production: Why Adam Sandler filmed Don't Say Good Luck and Sadie Sandler’s Roommates simultaneously in New Jersey.

Lost & Found Might Be the Most Forgettable Movie of 1999

🚨You can now watch a video version of our podcast on our YouTube channel🚨

In this episode of Adam Sandler Film School, Robert Bacon, Marie Maloney, and Caleb George take a look at Lost & Found (1999), the forgotten David Spade romantic comedy co-starring Sophie Marceau. Released during the legendary movie year of 1999, Lost & Found arrived in theaters alongside films like 10 Things I Hate About You, Go, Analyze This, and Life Is Beautiful, making it easy to see how this unusual comedy slipped through the cracks. But does it deserve its reputation, or is there something worth rediscovering?

The crew breaks down the film's bizarre premise, David Spade's performance as a leading man, the movie's troubled romantic setup, its box office run, and where it fits within the larger universe of Sandler-adjacent comedies. Along the way, they discuss Spade's career after Saturday Night Live, late-1990s comedy trends, memorable scenes, and whether Lost & Found works as either a romantic comedy or a vehicle for one of Adam Sandler's closest comedic collaborators.

If you enjoy deep dives into Adam Sandler movies, Happy Madison productions, David Spade films, Saturday Night Live alumni, 1990s comedies, movie reviews, movie rankings, and comedy film history, this episode is for you. Adam Sandler Film School explores the movies that helped shape the Sandler cinematic universe, one strange forgotten comedy at a time.

Sadie Sandler’s Roommates (2026) Review | The Ultimate Nepo Baby Movie?

🚨You can now watch a video version of our podcast on our YouTube channel🚨

Welcome to a special Happy Madison Podcast edition of Adam Sandler Please Stop. Today, the full crew of Bacon, Marie Maloney, and Caleb George are back to review Sadie Sandler’s leading turn in the 2026 release, Roommates.

This episode is all about the "N-word" of Hollywood: Nepotism. We analyze a cast stacked with nepo babies and discuss how Adam Sandler’s production company is the only thing that gets these projects off the ground. We aren't here to bash the talent, but we are asking the real question: Is the next generation of Happy Madison actually ready for the spotlight?

    What’s inside this retrospective:

Sadie Sandler Analysis: We break down her performance in Roommates and decide if she has the "Sandler Spark."

The Nepo Baby Cast: Identifying the familiar faces and family ties that fill out this 2026 production.

The Ethics of Nepotism: A nuanced discussion on why family favors in film aren't always bad, but often come with roles the actors aren't ready for yet.

A New Direction: Our final verdict on why Sadie Sandler needs to branch out and leave the "Dad-made" movies behind.

Retrospective Rankings: Where Roommates lands in the ever-growing Happy Madison hall of fame (or shame).
