• Memorial Day: America’s Forgotten History & Other Secrets

Memorial Day is one of those holidays almost everybody recognizes, but not everybody really understands.

In this episode, I’m taking a closer look at how a solemn day of remembrance became wrapped up in cookouts, road trips, sales, baseball, the Indy 500, and the unofficial start of summer.

I’ll get into what Memorial Day actually honors, why it’s different from Veterans Day, how it grew out of the grief of the Civil War, and why the original name, Decoration Day, still matters.

I’ll also talk about the arguments over where the holiday really began, why the date changed, and how that three-day weekend helped reshape the way Americans experience it.

This isn’t a lecture and it’s not a history class. It’s a look at the parts of Memorial Day most of us weren’t taught, forgot along the way, or never stopped to think about in the first place.

There’s solemn history here, but there’s also the very American reality of barbecue grills, traffic jams, airport chaos, and somehow turning almost anything into a sale.

So enjoy the weekend, enjoy the food, enjoy the time with family, but take a few minutes with me to look at the meaning behind the holiday and the forgotten history and other secrets that still make Memorial Day worth understanding.

  • America Feels Like A Ponzi Scheme Run By Trump And Cocaine Bears

Gas prices are climbing again, Americans are getting crushed again, and somehow we’re all expected to act like paying seventy dollars to drive to the grocery store is just part of being a functional society now.

Meanwhile politicians keep talking about global strategy while regular people are sitting in parking lots trying to figure out whether groceries, rent, or electricity gets sacrificed this week.

In this episode I dive into Trump’s response to rising gas prices, why so many Americans feel financially exhausted right now, and why the phrase “this is peanuts” probably hits a little differently when your debit card sounds like it’s fighting for its life every time you swipe it.

I also get into the increasingly bizarre reports surrounding Trump’s stock trades and the growing questions about politicians, money, power, and how the hell any of this is supposed to look normal anymore.

Because when powerful people seem to make money every time government decisions magically move markets, average Americans start wondering if the stock market’s become a private casino for insiders wearing flag pins.

I also break down the outrage surrounding reports that the IRS has reportedly agreed not to investigate Trump and his family over past tax issues. And for millions of Americans who are terrified of making one tiny mistake on their own taxes, the optics of that situation look absolutely insane.

Plus I look at the latest Republican primary results and what they reveal about Trump’s continuing grip on the Republican Party heading into the midterms.

Love him, hate him, fear him, or wish he’d vanish into a WiFi-free volcano somewhere, Trump still dominates Republican politics at a level that’s hard to overstate.

This entire episode is basically one giant look at why so many Americans feel like the country’s becoming impossible to recognize anymore.

Prices explode, trust collapses, politicians get richer, and the public just keeps getting emotionally beaten into numbness one news cycle at a time.

Welcome to modern America… where your grocery bill looks like a hostage negotiation and the government feels like a Ponzi scheme run by cocaine bears.

  • America: Billionaires Win & Everyone Else Eats Ramen Noodles
    May 19 2026

SEND ME A TEXT MESSAGE NOW

America’s officially reached the stage where billionaires are buying summer homes while millions of people are standing in grocery store aisles trying to decide whether eggs, bread, or rent gets to survive another week.

Washington’s answer? Tariffs, SNAP cuts, and speeches about “fiscal responsibility” delivered by people who’ve probably never compared ramen noodle prices in their entire lives.

Meanwhile Congress has once again dragged the Jeffrey Epstein circus back into the spotlight, because apparently America can’t go more than six months without reopening the world’s weirdest political true-crime rabbit hole.

Prison guards, missing accountability, bizarre testimony, “NO FUN!!” notes, and enough incompetence to make a raccoon-run DMV look like NASA mission control.

And somehow the details just keep getting crazier. We’re now living in a country where lawmakers hold dramatic hearings acting shocked that a prison system plagued by exhaustion, understaffing, and dysfunction completely failed to monitor one of the most high-profile inmates on Earth. Stunning revelation there, Sherlock.

Then we move into Trump dropping his IRS lawsuit while helping launch something called an “anti-weaponization fund,” which sounds less like public policy and more like a device hidden inside a volcano in a James Bond movie.

Every institution in America now gets treated like part of an endless political cage match where both sides scream conspiracy while normal people are just trying to afford groceries without taking out a second mortgage.

This episode dives straight into the insanity of modern America where food assistance gets debated like it’s some radical luxury, Epstein hearings feel like rejected Netflix scripts, and Washington keeps operating like the world’s angriest family Thanksgiving dinner after somebody flipped the table over and nobody bothered cleaning it up.

So if you’ve ever looked at the news lately and thought, “There is absolutely no way this is a normal civilization anymore,” congratulations. You’re not crazy. You’re just paying attention.

  • When The Gas Pumps Start Blinking, Billionaires Agree With Us?
    May 16 2026

Hackers may have breached fuel monitoring systems tied to gas stations here in the United States, and officials suspect Iran could be connected. That sentence alone should make people uncomfortable.

Instead, most Americans are so overwhelmed and distracted they barely even react anymore. Because apparently in 2026, “foreign hackers inside American infrastructure” barely interrupts people scrolling TikTok or ordering takeout.

Meanwhile, something strange is happening among the wealthy. Some billionaires are now openly warning that the economic system’s becoming dangerously unbalanced, and honestly, hearing rich people suddenly sound like frustrated working Americans feels like a glitch in the simulation.

When even the people at the top start worrying about inequality, you know something’s shifting underneath the surface.

Then there’s the political hypocrisy machine. A lot of the same warning signs Democrats panicked about during Biden’s presidency are now surrounding Donald Trump, and suddenly everybody’s pretending they never said what they said two years ago.

Polls, inflation, voter frustration, gas prices, approval numbers… Washington’s basically become one giant rotating contradiction powered by cable news and selective memory.

And finally, science may have delivered some surprisingly hopeful news about alcohol and the human body. New research shows recovery may be possible in ways people once thought were impossible.

But it also forces an uncomfortable conversation about how normalized drinking has become in modern society and why people still struggle talking honestly about it.

This episode dives into cyberattacks, economic frustration, political irony, public health, and the growing feeling that modern civilization’s being held together with duct tape, blinking error messages, caffeine… and denial.

No spin. No BS. Just the world getting weirder by the week.

  • Liar Liar Pants On Fire, The Narcissist King of Mar-A-Lago
    May 12 2026

When did lying stop being political spin… and start becoming America’s operating system?

In this episode, I dive into the growing normalization of misinformation, manufactured outrage, and the dangerous idea that facts no longer matter if your political tribe approves of the story.

From Trump’s latest claims involving Iran to the broader culture of “just believe whatever the leader says,” this episode asks a very uncomfortable question:

What happens when reality itself becomes negotiable?

I also get brutally personal about something I know will make some people angry. I explain why I can no longer tolerate hardcore Trump supporters in my personal life even friends, family members, or relationships.

Not because of “different opinions,” but because I believe we’ve crossed into something far darker involving cruelty, extremism, propaganda, and the abandonment of basic moral reasoning.

And then… we get to the statue.

Donald Trump unveiling a 22-foot monument to himself at Mar-A-Lago might be one of the most absurdly on-brand political moments in modern American history.

I break down the ego, the spectacle, the dictator-style imagery, and why this whole thing feels less like democracy and more like a reality show slowly mutating into a monarchy with gold trim.

This episode is angry, sarcastic, darkly funny, and completely unfiltered.

  • The United States of Exhaustion, Ted Turner Changed TV Forever
    May 7 2026

SEND ME A TEXT MESSAGE NOW

Tuesday’s elections revealed something deeper than politics. Americans are exhausted, financially stressed, burned out by nonstop outrage, and increasingly voting out of fear instead of hope.

I break down the election results, media hype, economic frustration, and why the country feels one bad news alert away from collectively losing its mind.

Then I look at Donald Trump defending plans for a massive new White House ballroom while millions of Americans struggle with gas prices, groceries, rent, and debt.

Is it confidence, terrible timing, or Marie Antoinette politics with extra chandeliers?
I unpack why the story is hitting such a nerve.

And finally, I remember Ted Turner…

the media outlaw who changed television forever. CNN. TNT. TBS. Twenty four hour news. Sports. Spectacle. Controversy.

Modern media still lives inside the world Ted Turner built, whether we like it or not.

  • Playing Chicken with the World Economy While Voter Rolls Shrink
    May 5 2026

The U.S. and Iran are trading shots near the Strait of Hormuz, and everyone’s acting like this is just another headline. It’s not.

This is one of the most important choke points in the world, and when tensions rise here, it doesn’t stay “over there.” It hits energy, markets, and eventually your wallet.

At the same time, voter roll purges are being pushed right up against Election Day. Not months out. Not with time to fix mistakes.

Right at the moment when people show up expecting to vote and could be told they’re no longer on the list. That’s not routine cleanup. That’s timing with consequences.

There’s also a claim floating around that sounds simple on the surface, like something you’ve heard a hundred times before. The problem is, once you actually stop and think about it, it doesn’t really hold up the way it’s being presented.

Then there’s the reaction to Rudy Giuliani being in critical condition. Not just the headline, but how people are responding to it. It’s not the kind of response you would’ve seen years ago, and that shift didn’t happen by accident.

And just to round it out, GameStop is trying to pull off a move that sounds bold until you look at the numbers.

A company worth a fraction of its target trying to buy something four times its size. At some point you have to ask if this is strategy or something else.

Different stories, same underlying problem. Decisions being made in plain view, with real consequences, and not a lot of concern about what happens next.

  • We’ve Normalized the Insane. This Is Not OK!
    Apr 28 2026

SEND ME A TEXT MESSAGE NOW

We’ve normalized the insane. Not slowly, not by accident… we just slid right into it.

Standoffs on funding bills like it’s some kind of seasonal sport, redistricting maps getting redrawn to lock in power BEFORE a single vote is cast. It’s not even subtle anymore, and somehow that makes it worse.

This episode isn’t about one headline. It’s about what happens when you stack all of this together and realize it’s the same script playing on repeat.

Different week, different players, same outcome. And everyone in charge acts like this is just how the system works now.

Then you get the cultural insanity layered on top of it. A late-night host tells a joke… and the response isn’t “that went too far” or “ignore it.” No. It’s fire him. Shut it down. End it.

Because apparently we’ve decided that jokes now require consequences like they’re federal offenses.

And just when you think the bar can’t drop any lower, here comes the conversation about bringing back firing squads. Not as history. Not as some dark footnote. As an actual option.

In 2026. Like we’re flipping through a menu of execution methods and saying, yeah, let’s go retro.

None of this stands alone. That’s the problem. It stacks. And when it stacks, it stops looking like random chaos and starts looking like something way more serious… like a system that’s either completely broken or way too comfortable with how far it’s willing to go.

Because here’s the part that should bother you the most. Not just that it’s happening… but how fast we adjust to it.

How quickly something that should stop everything just becomes background noise. That’s the shift. That’s where this goes from insane to dangerous.
