Summary

Tomboy Cam Swayne is determined that football hero, Jake Phillips, keeps his eyes firmly on her. After all, she’s been his since before she was born.

there are no words
this is a really difficult review to write, not because this book was bad but because it was SO good! this book had me hooked as soon as started it , not many books can do that, it really spoke to me and hit me right in the feels , possibly the best book I've ever had the pleasure of reading/listening , it starts off from Cam telling the story of her and Jake from when they were born, growing up together and how he made her, I don't want to give too much away but you have to listen to this book ! if someone asked me to recommend just one book , this would be it
I laughed, I cried, I couldn't stop smiling .
there are no words to how much I loved this book , it was beautiful.

Loved this book
This was a left field book for me.
A book that will make you smile and make you cry, properly cry too! I really loved the way the author built the characters and the format of the story. The story could resonate with anyone. Songs that intertwine our lives at certain times.
I want to read the next one but hope the freshness won’t be lost.

I love this beautiful story!
This book was so heart renching, I read the whole book thinking it can't happen and then it had!
When you live your whole life for someone what happens to you when their nit there anymore?
The way that Cami tells her story is heartbreakingly beautiful!
I think the author must have spent many a night crying whilst writing this!
P. S I always liked Blake's character

This one made me big fat cry 😭😭😭😭
I received this title for free in exchange for an unbiased review.
Every once in a while a story comes along that just ruins you completely and you can't stop thinking about it. Well this one was that for me the story is epic following Cami & Jake,best friends from the moment Cami is born it follows friendship to love to tragedy. I will not give anything away but OMG this is one heck of a story I did not get much sleep listening. Sarah Puckett is perfect for the part I just love her southern twang she is such a talented narrator she makes it so easy for you to see the story in your head. I have never cried so much for a book my husband got worried at one point when he walked into the room and saw me crying my eyes out. Please give this one a listen it does not disappoint. Don't expect hot and heavy it's a full blown love story. I adored it.x

A soul crushing story in the most beautiful way
The beginning was a little slow for my liking but it did pick up and grab my attention as the main characters aged and matured a bit. I knew going on that this would be a tragic tale and was it ever! I loved the connection that Jake and Cam had. “You were always more his than mine.” They were destined for each other but fate had other plans for this young couple.
I loved the ending. I loved the happiness that Camden was gifted. She deserved it after all she’d been through in her short life.

So tragic heartrenching and beautifully written
This is one review that I have struggled to find the words to describe just how beautiful this story is . I have already recommended it to friends of mine. The character of Cami is so relatable and you just get completely lost in the tale. Its tragic , romantic and pulls at every heartstrings you have . This is the first book I have read by this author but will certainly not be the last. It is so beautifully written and the author has literally poured their heart and soul into it. cannot recommend this enough. I was given this audiobook by the author /narrator in return for an honest and unbiased review

Oh my breaking heart 💔
There are not many books that make me cry in that ugly snot and tears way... But this is one of those books. It is one of the most beautifully heartbreaking, yet heartwarming story's of a love in it's purest form!
I can honestly say I will carry Jake and Cam's story in my heart for some time to come!
Sarah Puckett's performance was perfection! I wonder how many tears she shed performing this book!
