Knox and Melody do not get along when the first meet. He’s a football player, youngest of the New Bradford family. She’s a sport’s podcaster. And after an unfortunate season for Knox and an event in an uber, she calls him out publicly on her podcast. Eventually though, they sort things out. And as they get to know each more, they start a secret fling. Then a bomb gets dropped onto Knox’s lap in the form of a baby being dropped into his life. Although the baby isn’t Melody’s, she stays to help and they get even closer. I wasn’t sure if I’d like that kinda of secret baby story, but boy… was I wrong. I really enjoyed seeing their relationship build and the journey they went on!
This was such a great story that had me hooked from page 1, and kept me hooked until the end. Knox and Melody had such great chemistry. Plus, their relationship growth was incredible and amazing to watch!
Overall, I loved being back in this universe, and this was another great story by author Tia Louise.
This was narrated in duet form by Troy Duran and Willa Jaymes. They were perfect for the characters and this story!

Melody’s father was a professional quarterback until he turned his back on his career to be there for her but she has inherited his love and knowledge of football. She is going through a difficult time professionally so her podcast featuring Knox helps jump start her career but she also knows that if anyone learnt about their secret relationship it could have a detrimental impact on what she is trying to build.
The flirty banter between them is fun and seeing them evolve to adversaries to being each other’s person was heartwarming. Melody is there for him when he needs someone the most and played an integral part in them getting the happy ever after they were fighting for. Troy Duran’s deep timber was a great choice to voice Knox while Willa Jaymes brings out both the caring and feisty sides of Melody.
