Read really well! Not a great book

It was read brilliantly with each completely different, so very easy to tell apart.
The book wasn’t great, the first third of the book was very enticing but after that turned very far fetched and a bit silly.
Unfortunately I will not be listening to the following books as I do not care to hear about “Dan/Boss” and his gang. Michael Jameson did a fantastic job and I feel bad that the book wasn’t captivating enough for my to continue to listen to.

WELLL....

Would you try another book from James Wallace and/or Michael Jameson?

THE NARRATOR WAS SO AWFUL! I THINK THE STORY WAS PROBABLY GOOD BUT WAS SO DISTRACTED BY THE NARRATION I CAN'T SAY FOR SURE. DARN SHAME. THESE AUTHORS SHOULD REALLY CHECK OUT THE NARRATORS BETTER!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Michael Jameson?

PROBABLY ANYONE ELSE!!!!!!

May Have been a good story

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

well spent but way too fast.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I think i liked the hero.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Now here's the problem. In this story the hero is telling his story to someone else. I don't think I've ever heard a story told so fast and with so totally flat intonation in my life. I tried slowing it down to 0.75 but that just made him sound drunk. I really wanted to like this and I really wanted to hear what happened. However, it sounded exactly as it was, a man reading a script who apparently was on a tight schedule. His voice was fine, if he had just slowed down and put some emotion in it I could really have enjoyed it.

Could you see Zombie Theorem being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

no

I don't think this narrator ever took a breath!

How did the narrator detract from the book?

This is the worst narrator I've ever listen too. He never takes a breath and just keeps rambling on in his horrible monotone! He made what could be a good Zombie series into unlistenable trash!

it was a fine zombie story.

The story in itself was good. just a regular zombie story, and i like zombie stories. nothing new or interesting.

But the narrator was absolutely the worst ive ever heard. he was just monotonous. He just read the book in a flat voice the same for all the characters and every scene. in an action packed zombie book. the book would probably be alot better if the narrator was better. ill read the next book to see what happens, but ill just read it on kindle. if its on kindle unlimited.

i wont get another audible book read by Michael Jameson.

Great Story

Would you listen to Zombie Theorem again? Why?

Yes. It's a good story with action and good character development. A very exciting listen.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dan: he was given a bad situation and tried to make the best of it by helping and leading those around him.

What about Michael Jameson’s performance did you like?

He could use different tones for the different characters and slow down a bit. It seemed sometimes if he was running sentences together due to reading so fast.

If you could take any character from Zombie Theorem out to dinner, who would it be and why?

n/a

Any additional comments?

n/a

text to speech has more emotion

I tried but couldn't take more than an hour and almost a half of this monotone one note narr. . .reader. I can take the speed of his reading but not the total lack of emotion or inflection.

What a great read!

Any additional comments?

Dan is an interesting character, who evolves as the story plays out. A thoroughly enjoyable take on the Zompoc in settings I could relate to. Excellent book!

Already downloaded the second book

Holy cow! I don't know how I'm going to fall asleep now without getting the second book to find out what happens next. James Wallace takes us into a world that is very much like our own until unexplainable things start to happen. The main character, Dan, has to become a new version of himself in order to survive this new reality, but he doesn't have to do it alone. People who were previously strangers are now more like family, and together they decide to help the innocent along their journey or die trying.
