Fantastic

Best book

The best intro to zen thought and practice I've ever read. Tthis is a book that I can go back to again and again. I feel so blessed to have encountered Practice of the Wild as the first of my Zen teachers

disappointing

The narrator is horrible and the book sounds too much like a fanatical self-help book. Too much history and background info and not enough practical, day to day practices. Not very useful. Not recommended.
