About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

Learn how to reframe your anxiety and overcome self-doubt with this accessible guide from clinical psychologist Dr Michaela Dunbar, founder of @myeasytherapy.

We all experience anxiety at certain points throughout our lives, some of us more often and more intensely than others. It's an emotion, a chemical reaction and a fundamental part of being human. It can help you to stay alert and focused, spur you to action and motivate you to solve problems. But left unchecked, it can have the opposite effect, holding you back and preventing you from living the life you want.

You are not alone in this. Dr Michaela Dunbar, qualified clinical psychologist and founder of Instagram @myeasytherapy, has spent years helping ambitious women master their anxiety and overcome self-doubt so they can take unapologetic action to unlock their potential and find happiness and success. Through one-to-one coaching and therapy sessions and engaging with thousands of women through her online courses, Michaela has identified the seven key ways high-functioning anxiety can manifest in our lives, from people-pleasing to imposter syndrome, feeling overwhelmed to perfectionism, and shows us how to transform negative thoughts and difficult emotions into positive action.

You've Got This will give you the insight and tools to reframe how you view your anxiety and understand how to manage your thoughts and emotions so they no longer interfere with your relationships, your career or quality of life. Learn how to overcome self-doubt, set boundaries, avoid burnout and free yourself from the traps of overthinking to confidently step into a life you love.

Some really great, practical advice that’s easy to put into practice. The author is also really funny and cuts through all the nonsense to get the message across in a very relatable way.

Brilliant book

I feel like this book is totally about me! Even though I was familiar with all the topics previously, (being an HSP, anxiety, overthinking, imposter syndrome etc.) there was still something quite overwhelming (in a good way) about having everything written in one place. I really felt 'at home'. I was so glad to discover the book was to be read by the author and I got it as soon as it was released. I love the no-nonsense approach and I seriously felt like I had an ally. I was listening in the car but will definitely re-listen at home to complete the exercises. It was a short book and I couldn't quite believe when I heard the words, 'well you've made it through this audiobook' - I didn't want it to end! But when I looked at the car display, like omg it's finished already, I saw the time was 11:11 so I have nothing but good vibes :0)

You get me!
