Summary

Penguin presents this downloadable audiobook edition, of the number one, bestselling title in this new spin-off series from Percy Jackson creator, Rick Riordan. Old Enemies awaken as Camp Half-Blood's new arrivals prepare for war.

When Jason, Piper and Leo crash land at Camp Half-Blood, they have no idea what to expect. Apparently this is the only safe place for children of the Greek Gods - despite the monsters roaming the woods and demigods practising archery with flaming arrows and explosives.

But rumours of a terrible curse - and a missing hero - are flying around camp. It seems Jason, Piper and Leo are the chosen ones to embark on a terrifying new quest, which they must complete by the winter solstice. In just four days time. Can the trio succeed on this deadly mission - and what must they sacrifice in order to survive?

The best thing ever to be written by Rick Riordan

RICK RIORDAN'S BEST BOOK EVER SINCE PERCY JACKSON AND I LOVE THE WAY HE HAS BEEN ABLE TO GET US TO SEE THE IMAGE OF THERE LIFE AND I HAVE TO DO THAT FOR MY OWN BOOKS AND ITS SO HARD TO BE AS GOOD AS RICK RIORDAN.

Great start to the expansion of the Percy Jackson

Would you consider the audio edition of The Lost Hero to be better than the print version?

Yes, the audio version is better because you learn how to pronounce the different Greek and Roman gods rather than having to guess and the performance makes it more emersive.

Who was your favorite character and why?

All of the main three on the quest were good as they all had things to overcome and pasts to make peace with so to speak but it was also really nice to catch up with characters from the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series too so it's really hard to pick just one.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

It's very hard to say without spoiling parts of the book what my favourite scenes were (as again it would be impossible to just pick one).

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The only thing that I can say without spoiling parts of the book would be to say that it involves a dragon.
