Summary

Mina Hamilton's parents want her dead. (Or undead to be precise.) They're vampires, and like it or not, Mina must decide whether to become a vampire herself. But Mina's more interested in hanging out with best friend Serena and trying to catch the eye of the too-hot-for-high-school Nathan Able than in the vampire training classes she's being forced to take.

How's a girl supposed to find the perfect prom date and pass third-year French when her mom and dad are breathing down her neck - literally?

A great find

I had seen this book numerous times on Audible but was always put off by the cover.
I decided to give it a go as a love Nancy Wu as a Narrater.

I am so pleased I did. A new very amusing take on vampires and their families and friends. I am 40 plus and whilst I am sure itt was initally aimed at a younger audiance I loved it and the follow up novel.

A lot of sass and real belly laughs. I very rarely laugh out loud but this had me turning many a head on the morning tube journey

Cute story!

This was a cute vampire story and I was intrigued enough to buy the next in the series, "Still Sucks.....". Different from your normal vampire book, no bloody feedings etc., just a girl in High School trying to deal with everyday teen issues when the parental units drop the bomb. To be.....or not to be a vampire. Like she doesn't have enough junk in her life, Mina must make the big choice. Had a few good one liners and was funny at times. Hope you enjoy it too.

for teenagers

I can enjoy a lot of teen books, but this one was a bit too simple for me i need a bit more plot to hold my interest The narrator did a good job
