Summary

Arianna might have won the Summit and taken the crown of wolf shifters, but there is no time for her to settle into the royal life.

Something is off with the mecca and if she doesn't fix it the fae might just make another Earthside appearance.

Now she must work with the king of the bears to save both of their people. Which is easier said than done when he tempts her in every way and a relationship between them is forbidden. One slip up could cost her everything and in the NYC mecca someone is always watching.

So So So good!

I have listened to almost all of the audiobooks for these two authors..... their stories are just the type of fiction with a strong touch of romance that I love. but the NYC Mecca series absolutely took the cake! The authors created a very captivating world and created multi layered characters who were easy to love..... the romance in this particular series is believable and beautiful. I was surprised by how taken I was with this series. .... so much so that I went in search of the kindle copy of book 2 because there was no way I could wait on audible to produce it. I'm waiting for book 3.... it comes out on Kindle on April 26. I'm counting the days.

Not good

Nothing like Jaymin Eve’s normal writing stile. Normally I laugh my way through her books.
The characters in this book have little too none personality and I haven’t cracked a smile once yet. When the story peaks your interest, like a battle or when the two main characters get together, it’s very short and sweet and seems over before it starts. I don’t think Jaymin Eve has had much input in this series.
