Summary

I knew the moment Katy Swartz moved in next door there was going to be trouble. Lots of it. And trouble's the last thing I need, since I'm not exactly from around here. My people arrived on Earth from Lux, a planet 13 billion light-years away. Plus, if there's one thing I know, it's that humans can't be trusted. We scare them. We can do things they only dream about, and honestly, we make them look weak as hell. Cuz they are. But Kat is getting to me in ways no one else has, and I can't stop myself from wanting her - or wanting to use my powers to protect her. She makes me weak, and I'm the strongest of our kind, tasked with protecting us all. So this one girl might mean the end for us. Because the Luxen have an even bigger enemy - the Arum - and I need to stay on my game. Falling for Katy - a human - won't just place her in danger. It could get us all killed, and that's one thing I'll never let happen.

Love books with the male point of view!

Sure, love the story but why does the audio book only cover the first book? Where are the other two books? I expected this Oblivion to match the eBook.

Love this series!

This series is so fluffing good! I loved the characters bore that i can explain. They are so well developed. Jennifer has this way of extracting all the emotion from you that she can so that you feel wholly invested in the book. I . Loved . It. I have read the whole series and can tell you it is one of my faves. Keep going!

Only first Book from Daemon's POV. EXCELLENT!

If you buy the book from Amazon, you get Daemon's point of view on the first three books in print. I thought this would be all three books, but it is not. I actually liked Damons point of view better than Katy's. I also didn't like the narrator for Katy.

Amazing performance

Would you consider the audio edition of Oblivion to be better than the print version?

I love this story and I love Daemon. Rob Shapiro's performance is great. His voice is smooth and sounds just as I imagine Daemon to sound. My only complaint is that since the first book, Daemon has been pronounced wrong, but that is not this narrator's fault, he has to continue to be consistent.

Which character – as performed by Rob Shapiro – was your favorite?

Daemon, of course.

Way too long

This POV could have been told in probably half the time. It was tedious. I liked it, but there was too much rehashing that should have been left out. There were also lots of grammatical errors that should have been caught in editing. I was only able to finish because Rob Shapiro is an amazing narrator. If I was reading it, it probably would have ended up in my DNF.

Narrator:
Rob Shapiro- 5stars- He is the perfect example of a male narrator that can do female characters without sounding fake. Sure he might be slow, but I rarely listen at 1x speed anyway.

I am so glad I got this

I wish it was the whole book but I’m still glad I got it. Shapiro was epic. This is actually my favorite series done by Armentrout. I need more Daemon Black but alas there is no more. Thank you for the week of escape Mr Shapiro and Ms Armentrout
