this is the third book in oddjob series and is as enjoyable and entertaining as the first. the characters are likeable. the monsters are sinister and the jokes are amusing. the plot moves along with fast paced action, period dramas, science fiction, accurate historical fact, fantasy, sex and romance. I can't wait to read number 4

I've become quite a fan of HG and IG. laugh out loud silly and well written. Would have been 5 star but had to go back a couple of times to reread as lost the gist of who/what/where.

Really enjoying this series, one of the best I’ve ever listened to. The story is very different and the characters are superb.
The thing that makes it even better is the narration, truly excellent. There are a lot of different characters, human and alien, and they are all brilliantly done.
Must mention one of the funniest moments in any book I’ve listened to.
It’s worth buying the book if only for Rod and Cathy’s sex scene. Priceless!
