Liked it way more than I thought I would. It kept me guessing what was going to happen and was action packed, but fade to black. There was some humor but a lot of tragedy too as they deal with grief (specially our h who has suffered through the death of pretty much her entire family).
Really good romantic suspense that kept me hooked.
Great narration too.

Love all the work this author does. Her stories are so cleverly written and find the perfect sweet spot between romance and realism.
The characters are so well developed, with arcs that make sense both for the story and for themselves. She manages to make them likeable without becoming saccharine, and their flaws are endearing without being overwhelming to the plot.

Loved this wasn’t expecting much but I was hooked straight from the start very entertaining would highly recommend narration was also excellent even though never encountered them before a very good audiobook to read especially for free
