Inspiring and calming.

Congratulations to Emily Clark on the publication of this book. No question about it—due to the high amount of stress all over and the huge need for a comprehensive anti-stress mechanism, this book is here at just the right time. I feel that this book will definitely help people overcome their stress and other stress-related disorders...like it happen to me, I fell in love with this book

Beautiful Way to Experience Yoga Nidra

I started practicing Yoga Nidra at my yoga studio at the beginning of the year. My teacher recommended this book. The book is beautiful and lays out many steps of Yoga Nidra in a way that is accessible and easy to follow. I am enjoying going through the book and recording each practice, learning more about the process, and myself. If you haven't practiced Yoga Nidra this is a beautiful intro. If you practice regularly it will add depth to your practice.

Wish I’d discovered years earlier!

Great listening! I found this book to be extremely valuable. It’s definitely a guide book and its readability varies. It can be technical in places (but most laymen shouldn’t have a problem following it), and it can be repetitive in the middle where it’s mostly descriptions of variations on the practice. It does include stories in a few places, but is intended as a text rather than to entertain and so it’s not without some dry spots. I’d highly recommend this book as a reference for those who teach yoga nidra. It will definitely expand upon (and help one keep straight) what one learned in teacher training and yoga nidra workshops

Good Introduction to Yoga Nidra

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested not only to read the most in-depth and detailed guide about Yoga Nidra I know of, but who also wants to embark on a journey back home to source through a transformational process of uncovering and pursuing one’s life purpose. Great narration

Relaxation for our stressful modern world

In today's busy and stressful world you need to know how to remain calm and focus on what's important to you. This book offers great advice and help shoe with some steps to reduce stress, improve your sleep, and even restore your spirit. I found this helpful as I need better ways to relax and practice in this every day until I have it is going to help you tremendously, I gained so much knowledge insight on myself as well.

My first experience with Yoga Nidra was at a local yoga studio where I live. I found there to be such amazing benefits that I decided to do my own research on it to find out more about this particular practice. Yoga Nidra is simple, yet incredibly transformative! There are different stages, levels of experiences, each with their own unique and subtle energies to them. This book goes into great detail about each one, what they are like, and much much more. She references science and history to back up the information presented. Whether you are wanting to study more about this particular mediation and/or broad your knowledge in yoga or metaphysics, this book is for you!

Easy and effective

I was very excited to receive this book because I love yoga nidra and we didn't get to cover a lot about it in my YTT class. This book was very thorough in providing scripts and meditations and all of the details needed to deepen your yoga nidra practice. I have really enjoyed it. My congrats also to the narrator

Simple, yet incredibly transformative!

Emily Clark’s practical Yoga Nidra is the perfect introduction to this form of yoga. And don’t let the word “yoga” scare you—these exercises are far more about the meditation, about breathing and centering your mind to release stress and find a relaxing place. so so....

I was a little disappointed it was kind of dry... which is strange because I enjoy informational works that I can learn from. This one just missed the mark with me.
