Disappointing

I was hoping for guided meditations. This is just somebody droning on about the virtues of sleep mediation in strange poor English. It is repetitive, there are some inappropriate words used and the words "as well" at the end of nearly every sentence! An extremely annoyng audiobook. It's a shame because Harriet Seed does have an easy voice to listen to. It is the content that is poor.

Interesting and useful

This is a good audiobook for who requires to practice yoga Nidra (leisure methods), just learn more about it or explain it to others. It is honest and not too obscure.

Brilliant book

Very educational and teaches Yoga Nidra in great detail but clear to know and understand. There's also a short and long class transcription for teachers to take ideas from. I would highly suggest this audiobook as part of your growing awareness of yoga.

A significant meditation

This audiobook is definitely written as a Manual for a largely English audience, and it’s contents used widely by Western Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and Counsellors, particularly in Australia.

Don’t Waste Your Time

Too much talk and no action. I have been to several Yoga Nidra classes and they are awesome and so relaxing- There was very little actual guided practices where you could do at home. This was not helpful to me. Best practice: pamper yourself at a neighborhood yoga studio.

The best I have found

The subject of Yoga Nidra is well described in language that is easy to pass on to yoga classes. In addition, the real examples of Nidra are easy to use both for oneself or in a class situation.

Love this book

Highly suggested yoga technique for deep relaxation and accessing the mental mind and how releasing stresses. If more people did yoga Nidra on a daily basis I am sure the world would be a better place as people would be more at peace with their inner world.
