Not great

Not too much info, and a lot of it is just the same point repeated in different wording across a whole chapter. the book only focuses on aerial.yoga and doesn't touch on nidra.

I am used to do yoga regularly.

I have been doing yoga for many years in different groups but I found this exceptionally accommodating for my personal practice at home reminding me of different postures. Well worth the money!

Clear and usable instructions and foundation

My body heals faster and my treatment sessions have become much more effective and I am progressing so much faster. The more I practice meditating, the more effective it becomes and yoga nidra has become such a powerful tool on the road to recovery.

Intuitive and Comprehensive

This meditation is life changing and easy. He also has a bunch of different CD's and audio downloads for sale on his website, all slightly different. A part of me is unchanging. And a part of me is changing. Feeling into both parts, at the same time, is the core of this teaching.

You will love it

That is pretty impressive. But, like anything else, it would take quite a bit of practice and probably better instruction than a book or CD is going to provide. Still, this book provides some good information on a very interesting practice--sleep yoga.

Relaxation for our stressful modern world

So great! Super user friendly for teachers to use as a resource in planning their classes and for students to use in their home practice. It has a brief history, explanation and guided mediation’s. I just wish here were more guided meditations for me to lead others.

leads one into an expansive self-awareness

I have practiced a lot of Yoga Nidra's. This one is a pretty effective one to go beyond the body awareness and give a true sense mind and body awareness. The accompanying cd is nice as the author's voice guides you to peace and awareness. Also this seems to be bring about a peaceful positive emotions which aids in our daily life.

Cant stop listening

This book is a collection of sutras very nice for the contemplative mind who likes to have their ideas put before them in phrases to just sit and absorb without a lot of searching.Useful background on the practice and different perspective from my yoga teacher training.

nice book or beginners


This is an excellent book for a stiff beginner such as myself. It explains each pose carefully and indicates why it is good for your body. I have found it to be very inspiring, and use many of the poses daily. I highly recommend it!
