Summary

WARNING: This is a postapocalyptic horror audiobook where bad people do evil things and, as such, this series features disturbing scenes and foul language. While it is all within the context of the story, some listeners may find this content offensive.

Can humanity survive what it never saw coming? On October 15 at 2:15 a.m. Earth vanished. A scattered few woke alone in a world with no rules, other than survival at any cost. A journalist wanders the wretched reality of an empty New York, searching for his wife and son. A serial killer must hunt in a land where prey is now an endangered species. A mother shields her young daughter from danger through every terror-filled breath.

A bullied teen is thrilled to find the world gone missing, until the knock on his door. A fugitive survives a fiery plane crash. Will he be redeemed, or return to the killing he's best at? An eight-year-old boy sets out on a journey to find his missing family, only to find something that will change him forever. These survivors aren't truly alone.... Someone or something is watching them. And waiting...

Strangers unite. Sides are chosen. Can humanity survive what it never saw coming?

Oh Alight, It's A Keeper

I really don't know what made me start this series. I kept saying, okay, I will purchase just one more episode. I guess it's time I have to admit that it does have a certain something.

Unlike most end-of-the-world-zombie-gut-slinging- gore on every page novels, Yesterday's Gone doesn't use that violent drama as the foundation for the storyline. It doesn't hide from violence and blowing blood and guts everywhere, but it does play distant second to the role of relationships and the underlying mystery that makes this book readable.

I have purchased episode 5, so I can no longer say I'm trying it out. It is true, I want to see what happens next. I'm still listening.

What the hell!

I was loving the books and then I got to the second half of the first season and you don't pick up where the first half leaves off? What about the cliff hangers? You can't get is so involved and drop us like that! I really feel betrayed! I will not continue listening to a book series that abandons its own story line! I wanted to love this book series but I can not recommend it because of what it did!

What the heck are those?

The adventure continues and there is so much action, confusing monsters and people needing answers.

Entertaining enough to keep going..

Entertaining, clear distinct characters, some narrators have better range than others as far as depicting different characters however overall it's well done and the story continues to lead you on with suspense/ mystery. a bit like The Stand with a splash of War of the Worlds.

definitely worth a listen

I have enjoyed all the episodes so far, the narrations do a great job, about to start the next one now, I recommended giving at least the first episode a try.

What happened???

All of a sudden, the book just ended, unexpectedly. I had been listening, and waiting for "something" to happen.... Seems like this episode was a bit of a filler. I had to look when it ended to make sure it wasn't just the end of a chapter... I will continue with the next installment, and see where this story goes.

Edge of seat

So good I can't stop listening. Great characters story plot ect. And it just keeps you guessing without leaving out so much
