Have you ever set out to have a one night stand with a sexy stranger? No? I’m the only one? Just kidding, I would never. Ever. Not usually. But then I figured, why not? My entire life I’ve been good and it’s gotten me nowhere. No job. No apartment. No boyfriend. I’m owed a little fun, aren’t I?

Story
I didn't mean to star in a sex tape, okay? It was just one of those unexplainable things. Like Stonehenge, Police Academy 2, and morning glory clouds. It just happened. Now, my ball-busting father is sentencing me to six months of celibacy, sobriety, and morbid boredom under the roof of Boston's nerdiest girl alive, Sailor Brennan. The virginal archer is supposed to babysit my ass while I learn to take my place in Royal Pipelines, my family's oil company. Little does she know, that's not the only pipe I'll be laying....

Story
Marrying a stranger tops the list of things you should never do in Las Vegas, but I did it anyway. The entire night was my idea. I was the one who suggested a wake-up-with-a-tiger kind of night. Instead, I woke up with a ring on my finger and Vince Rossi in my bed. Vince was nothing like I thought he was and everything I never knew I needed. Suddenly I was falling head-over-heels in love with my accidental husband and the idea of ending this union was the last thing I wanted. I wanted forever. So what if we barely knew each other?

I was upgraded to first class on a flight from London to New York. The food, champagne, and service were impeccable. The blue-eyed man sitting next to me, even better. He was suave and intelligent. We talked and laughed, and something clicked. Fate took over and the plane was grounded, and we had an unexpected stopover for the night. With no plans, we made our own.

Story
The Sebastians own this city. Hell, they own the whole world. All I want is one little piece of it, a corner that I can call my own. So when my boss runs away to “find herself”, I seize the opportunity and dive head first into the Sebastian’s glamorous universe. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted - fast paced and high stakes - and, even though I don’t fit in, I’m excellent at faking it. Until I come face-to-face with the man in charge, Scott Sebastian, the arrogant playboy heir with the mind of a devil and the body of a god and a mouth I can’t stop thinking about.

My love story all started with a letter. Only it wasn’t from the man I’d eventually fall in love with. It was from his daughter. A sweet little girl named Birdie Maxwell who’d written to the magazine that I worked for. You see, once a year my employer fulfilled a few wishes for readers. Only that column didn’t start up again for months. So I fulfilled some of her wishes myself. It was harmless…so I thought. Until one day I took things too far. While anonymously granting yet another of Birdie’s wishes, I got a look at her father.

Dear Mr. Vega: I felt it necessary to follow up on today’s meeting, since we weren’t able to speak candidly in front of your son. I was shocked to discover that you are Ryder’s dad. I think it would be best if we just pretend that we met in person for the first time today. Your son is a very bright (flirtatious and talkative) student and since his education is a top priority for both of us, I hope I can count on you to respectfully refrain from grinning at me, using that sexy tone of voice, and undressing me with your annoyingly beautiful brown eyes....

The first time I met Hudson Rothschild was at a wedding. I’d received an unexpected invitation to one of the swankiest venues in the city. Hudson was a groomsman and quite possibly the most gorgeous man I’d ever laid eyes on. He asked me to dance, and our chemistry was off the charts. I knew it wasn’t a good idea to get involved with him, considering the wedding I was at. But our connection was intense, and I was having a great time. Though the fun came to a screeching halt when Hudson figured out I wasn’t who I’d said I was.

If people have polar opposites, Luca Rossi is mine. His butt is in the baseball hall of fame. Mine's comfortably seated in the hall of lame. When he's not snagging fly balls out in center field, he's modeling in shampoo commercials. I once jammed my own finger while stirring cookie dough, and sometimes I forget shampoo is a thing. He's a total cynic when it comes to love. I make a living writing love stories. But after my latest broken engagement (no, I don't want to talk about how many times that's happened), it's clear he's exactly the man I need.

I’d like to preface this by saying it was never my intention to ever get involved in a workplace romance, let alone get involved with the most surly, agitating, and pompous man I’ve ever met who just so happens to be my new friend’s brother. It should be the most shocking news I’d ever gotten - my boyfriend is getting married. Okay, technically he’s my ex-boyfriend. Two months ago he decided he wanted a break. I still thought he was my happily-ever-after. On any other day, knowing he was gone for good would be the worst thing that could possibly happen. But not today. Because not only is my boyfriend getting married - his bride is my best friend. And they’ve sent me an invitation. There’s no way I’m going to attend. I don’t care if it’s in beautiful Scotland. Nothing and no one could convince me.

Summary
I have a history of picking the wrong guy. Gay? Player? Momma's boy? Check, check and check.
Now I can't stop fantasizing about one of the customers at the coffee shop I work at between classes. It's just a harmless crush, right? It's not like I ever see this guy outside of the coffee shop. It's not like I'm going to see him while attempting to get birth control at the student clinic. While wearing a paper gown. While sitting on an exam table. Because he's the doctor. Shoot. Me.
But what if, for once, the man I've had the dirtiest, most scandalous fantasies about turned out to be everything but wrong?

Funny and sweet love story
What I liked: 1) The first few chapters are absolutely hilarious. Sophie's thirsty thoughts had me laughing. 2) Sophie and Luke's meet-cute was adorable. and I loved in the end when it came full circle. 3) It starts out as a dirty comedy and turns into a sweet romance. What I didn't like: 1) Luke's assertive nature turned into domineering at times which was off-putting. 2) Luke and Sophie's relationship escalated very quickly which at times felt jarring. 3) The narrator did well with Sophie's voice but I felt she was lacking when it came to Luke's. The other female voices weren't distinct enough from Sophie's but thanks to the writing I was able to follow along fine. 4) The bickering between Sophie and Gina felt very juvenile to me.

So wrong it's right!
I love this book, the story is hilarious, the writing is on point and the narrator, Erin Mallon is great. I love that she tells the story and doesn't just read it. She give each character a voice of their own. This is book 1 of 4. Sophie is being a responsible adult going to the student clinic to get contraception before losing her virginity. Never once suspecting that the doctor will be her crush. The man she sees & fantasises over every Tuesday morning as he grabs a coffee from her at Grind Me, where she is a barista. It's cringy, and embarrassing, for her but the start of a great story.

Brilliant
Wrong is about university student Sophie, who has had no luck with love and always picks the wrong guys to date! You cannot help but to love Sophie, she is so down to earth and funny and when she develops a crush on a customer in the Grind Me coffee shop where she works, the chance meeting at her gynecologist appointment is every woman's worst nightmare but made for a hilarious read! Then you have Luke! The sexy, older man who cannot help but fall for Sophie's innocent charm and I can imagine that every woman would like to be able to dive in this book for their own chance with Luke! Overall this was fantastic! I couldn't stop listening and was every moment I had spare.

Brillian, funny and sexy
I loved this book and the characters. The writing was funny and a bit daring. The sex was hot. Yes occasionally Sophie was a bit whiny but she's only 21. Give her a break. Plus, Luke s occasionally a sullen douche. But oh so hot. I could not stop listening to this. i mssed a da,ned dental appointment because I was up all night listening,
This book is not for prudes. If you don't like hearing about sex, especially anal sex then cover your dainty little ears. If you're a woman of the world and like it hot, this is the book for you.

ABSOLUTELY & POSITIVELY NOTHING 'WRONG' HERE
And this book was actually oh so right on so many levels.. especially when the flirty, fun and fairly angst free storyline describes a scene where the 21 yr old virginal College student/barista mortifyingly meets her suit-wearing coffee shop crush/fantasy man when she comes face to face with her Gynaecologist who turns out to be all kinds of Dr. McDreamy. And, before too long, there are steamy scenes where the droolworthy dirty talking Doctor is masterfully showing her what he likes in the bedroom.. the kitchen.. his office.. well anywhere that he can get his very talented hands on her.
A thoroughly enjoyable and totally entertaining story that was h.o.t. HOT between an alpha 35 yr old doctor who is wealthy, successful charismatic, possessive and dominant and a naive, insecure, smart, easy-going virgin who gets swept up in all things McHottie.. and I don't blame her one bit. There were well described scenes, good secondary characters, a b'tch of an ex who stirs up some trouble and only climaxes of the pleasurable kind are found here in this very rewarding listen that was told from the heroine's POV. Erin Mallon's narration was perfect in bringing this easy-going easy-flowing lighthearted listen to life.
Worth a credit? Yes and, as I smirked, blushed, snorted, swooned and sniggered my way through this far too short listen, I knew that I'd soon be purchasing the rest of Jana Aston's books.

What a Debut Novel!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Wrong is fun, flirty and oh, so sexy! Narrator Erin Mallon somehow made author Jana Aston's sex scenes even more scintillating! I was more than a little distracted when driving!
Who was your favorite character and why?
I loved Sophie. She is an excellent balance of insecurity, naiveté and poise.
What does Erin Mallon bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The narrator was excellent. Different voices for each character. She didn't "over-do" the male characters. Her depiction of the main character was a perfect blend of naivety and curiosity.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Can Mr. Right by so wrong?
Any additional comments?
Wrong is the debut novella by indie author, Jana Aston. Let me tell you, there is a lot right with Wrong.
I adored main characters Sophie and Luke—individually and as a couple. Luke is a smart, successful, handsome, polite, knows his way around a woman’s body, swoon-worthy sort of man. He is a thoughtful guy who’s actions speak volumes about his character and his feelings toward other people. Virginal Sophie is pretty insecure, and yet, at times, she has a lot of poise for someone so young and inexperienced.
The secondary characters are a mixed bag. Some were developed enough and some were not more than a mention (with and without a solid position in moving the plot along). Jean the sex-crazed dorm roommate is great. She’s a good friend who clearly is more experienced that Sophie. Co-worker and bestie, Everly, is a great friend who I didn’t warm up to when I first read the book. Merideth, Alex, and Bella are part of Luke’s family—Bella is adorable, Meredith is super nice, Alex is barely mentioned. Gina is left mysterious; she appears sophisticated, but her schemes felt beneath her level of social-class, education and sophistication. Dr. & Mrs. Miller—their role is to show the dichotomy of Sophie’s and Luke’s life/upbringing. They’re not supposed to be likable, but it was overplayed a bit in a couple scenes. I would have liked them to have more of a role, and had their agendas built into the plot a bit more to create more tension and angst.
Sophie, a college senior, working as a barista at a local coffee shop gets a weekly thrill serving one particularly hot customer who comes every Tuesday. Many days, it’s the little things, like a special customer, that get you through your work day. Luke, the object of her desires, is an OB/GYN who volunteers at the student clinic every Tuesday. The hilarity begins soon after that opening scene of the book. Dry humor is sprinkled throughout the story; there is just enough humor to make the book fun without it taking over the romance/love story. Ms. Aston has paced her plot well. There is never a point where the story drags or goes off on a tangent. Each scene revealed something about the main characters. I liked that readers (and to some degree the main characters) had to think about what was revealed about a character and how that fit into the story instead of the author “telling” readers what it meant.
Overall, Wrong by Jana Aston is a great first outing by an indie author. I LOVED the humor in the story. I immensely enjoyed Sophie’s first pelvic exam. It will bring back memories for every female reader. I think I might have liked a dual perspective narrative as it would have added depth and forced further development of some character. Luke’s activities would have had to have been explored—many of the secondary characters are related to Luke. That said, being as surprised as Sophie made for a little more angst and surprise for the reader. The dialogue between the main characters was easy and believable. I didn’t like the more banal pet names (a pet peeve of mine and I didn’t think it fit with the character), but most readers won’t care. I would have loved to see Ms. Aston delve a little deeper into Luke’s and Sophie’s relationship. The characters have great sexual chemistry and their overall chemistry could have been explored more outside the bedroom. For example, Sophie tells Luke that she doesn’t understand why he loves her and Luke doesn’t respond. Frankly, as a reader (or Luke’s girlfriend), I want that answer. If Sophie had been a more secure character, I would have expected her to push for answers to all her (readers’) questions instead of letting Luke side step them.
A 4.5 star read for me.

The sex is hot, but we see little of characther development from Luke and Sophie is a little too stupid at times.

Uncomfortable with their age difference
Strange book - never learned anything about main characters but their sexual attraction to each other. Shallow storyline. End of book wrapped things up nicely though.

Boring
Boring story and extremely dirty talk is definitely not my thing... I think is offensive, not hot at all.

didn't like
I didn't like this story. I struggled to get past their age differences and felt like when she went in for the initial exam that it was just too weird and crossed a professional line. Kinda grossed me out

Wrong
I honestly think Sophie has worse luck than anyone on the planet. I did think Luke was probably one of the most amazing guys there though. He truly did form an awesome obsession with Sophie and it wasn’t creepy. He really developed feelings for her and she for him. My heart broke for them and I was just happy to see their HEA develop through the rest of the series. And Erin Mallon is the Audio Queen. She is by far one of the best out there. GFYDU MTYB DBAD

Fifty shades knock off
This book is basically fifty shades of grey with less extreme characters and slightly better writing (the writing is more or less believable and the reader is fine). The girl isn't *quite* so innocent, the guy isn't *quite* so fucked up... but it's still a borderline abusive, totally misogynistic story with a female character who either openly does things she doesn't want to for a guy or let's him convince her that she does by inundating her with requests. It wasn't worth the $2.95 because I wasted 3 hours before I realized I hate books that glorify these types of relationships.

Typical
I liked the story line okay but the sex scenes were brutal to listen to. The spanking and "filthy hussie" was cringing. I had to fast forward through the sex.

I was unaware
I was unaware that this story was a knock off of Fifty Shades of Grey when I purchased it as a recent Audible Daily Deal selection. I'm no prude, but as soon as I realized what was really going on, I kind of lost interest in the plot. The language is extremely unapologetic. Do college women really talk like this? Chiefs of Obstetrics? I guess anything goes in the bedroom, but instead of finding the story erotic, I thought it was just a little on the raunchy side. A little dirty talk is fine, but filthy? Not my cup of tea. Anywho... this story is kind of like 50 Shades meets Pretty Woman meets Grey's Anatomy meets Cinderella. But it's a cute, albeit impractical, storyline. At least there was no BDSM. Three cheers for that.
