I bought this having read a good review, and I have wasted a credit. Possibly one of the most disappointing novels of its genre it is poorly written and badly narrated. If you're expecting something in the style of "Defcon 1", or "Command and Control", forget it. After a passable start, if not a tad unbelievable, it deteriorates into a boring series of incidents during which I found myself hoping that the baddies would kill the goodies so it would soon be over. I made it almost to the end, until the baliffs arrived to take away my will to live.

How this ever made it from an idea to a book and something g you have to pay money for, baffles me. It’s absolute rubbish. A high school kid with no aptitude for creative writing could do better.

Appalling

An invasion by genetically enhanced CCP "super soldiers." (Get used to that term.) Posing as ANTIFA thugs and astonishingly the Proud Boys too. Spreading panic and chaos. Followed by a two stage EMP attack taking down power, telecoms and everything with a CPU, Rumoured to be the work of US environmental radicals. I'm sure the imaginative amongst you are already predicting the narrative. Poor preparations for such an attack despite repeated warning by those who understand the threats. Useless leadership by the Biden/Harris woke administration, compromised by the CCP.

Not the best novel on the subject but certainly entertaining. Very chuckle worthy. If you are a woke DEI type, this is not for you. However, if you are a right minded wise person happy with our new POTUS. You will find it highly amusing.
