We all know the pressure of feeling like we should be grinding 24/7 while simultaneously being told that we should 'just relax' and take care of ourselves, like we somehow have to decide between success and sanity. But in today's complex working world, where every hobby can be a hustle and social media is the lens through which we view not only others but also ourselves, this seemingly impossible choice couldn't be further from our reality.

In Working Hard, Hardly Working, entrepreneur and self-proclaimed 'lazy workaholic' Grace Beverley challenges this unrealistic and unnecessary split, and offers a fresh take on how to create your own balance, be more productive and feel fulfilled.

Includes practical advice on:

· The life-changing art of the to-do table: perfect your productivity method and do more of what you love
· Making your routine work for you: optimise your habits and reap the benefits
· Getting into and managing your flow: boost your creativity and enjoy your everyday
· Engaging in effective self-care: how stepping back will help you move forwards

Insightful, curious and refreshingly honest, Working Hard, Hardly Working will make you reflect on what you want from your life and work - and then help you chart your path to get there.

Grace is the inspiring, young entrepreneur energy that we need in our lives.
Serves some serious inspiration for the business-minded.
Offers a fresh take on how to create your own balance, be more productive and feel fulfilled in the high-pressure social media age.
Pinpoints and unpacks the confusing and impossible messages we are all fed about modern work, how we are supposedly meant to be "nailing" all areas of our life all at once. I'm a big advocate of defining success for yourself, which is exactly what this book helps readers do.
Essential reading for anyone who takes their working life seriously.
As she makes clear in her excellent new book, Working Hard, Hardly Working: How to Achieve More, Stress Less and Feel Fulfilled - which she characteristically wrote while running two businesses - twentysomethings are in fact far more obsessed with productivity than their predecessors. And it's not always healthy.
A new blueprint for our current work environment ... Beverley's book investigates what it means to truly work hard and why we feel that unless we're up working till 2 a.m. and not getting enough sleep, we're not working hard enough.
A new productivity blueprint.
Motivating whatever stage you're at.
Full of practical advice and techniques to help avoid burnout, its honest approach is a welcome oneto help you reflect on what you want from life and work.

I struggle sometimes with factual audible books where the content is excellent but I can’t get past the annoying voice but this a rare book in that Grace was exceptionally easy to listen to but also her enthusiasm and personality came through. There wasn’t anything ground breaking if you tend to read around productivity but what Grace does is bring lots of concepts together and discuss how she uses them with honesty. An excellent listen and read ( I have both written and audible version) that was thought provoking and helped with self awareness.

Thought provoking book

Although the concepts discussed are not mind-blowing as other reviews may have suggested. This collection of tips and tricks is very easy to implement into our modern lives to make us more productive and get more out of life.

Great practical advice

I love Grace and everything she represents. I was looking forward to the release of this book for months and now I've read (well, listened), to it I feel that it has given me far more than I expected if I'm honest. It's not another self help book with a disciplined to do list and defined key method to help run your life, instead it's an overview and observation of the things we all face and discussed methods to help you reflect on your own personal work/life balence and the things that do or don't work for you. It discusses universal issues and topics which, by being universal makes it very personal to each reader - we are of course all living within these universal times. You need to read/listen to this book whether you feel it's necessary for your life or not. Brilliant!
