A lot of information audiobook..

This audiobook tells you how to make dovetails, mortise and tenons, half joints etc. plus about thirty others, all well explained with clear photos. It has chapters on using hand tools, power tools and machines and what happens to joints when the wood dries.

I liked this audiobook..

I liked this audiobook so I picked this one up without thinking. Happy I did. Sure he covers the main standard joints but he also brings out some of the rarer ones too that have been fun to try out.

A lot of information audiobook..

Bag does what it claims to do. Fits more than you think. We didn't have any accidents on the river so I can't comment on waterproofness but it is durable. Would buy again, will probably buy again for lather expeditions.

A lot of information audiobook..

Those interested in wood joinery won't find a better book than this one. Pictures and illustrations are very clear and concise, without all the preaching and lecturing practiced by most English authors, who come across as if they consider themselves to be only people who know anything about wood joinery and wood working.

nice book

This is a good book- plenty of ideas, and simple instructions on how to realize them. first book should be a good joint/assembly book, but thios could be an excellent 2nd book for the begining woodworker

Good!

A great book even for those who believe they know it all. You will be able to pick up some techniques that can truly save you time and fingers. This book has many great workshop set up ideas and also goes over safety in depth which is very important in any woodworking project.

Helpful!

This book is without a doubt the single most informative book on woodworking. It is consise and to the point no matter what tool or procedure one uses. It doesn't go into great detail but what information it does give is more than enough to make one much more than a beginning woodworker. I have a ton of woodworking books but this one book I one I use more often any due to its simplification but still informative enough to fully explain almost any task associated with woodworking.

Nice!

Exactly what I was looking for to get on the right track. This is essential to versatility in woodworking. With this tool, you can flatten wood, put a curve in it, or square your work.
