Fine!

This book inspired him to take up wood working as a hobby. He made a room separator that holds tools for my shop, bird houses, wood planters for the wife, and a firewood shed for me

Great book! It covers everything from Setting up shop, wood types and different cuts of wood. Squaring, marking and cutting. It covers all of the different joints and how to make each. Finishing is also covered.

great procedure

This book is without a doubt the single most informative book on woodworking in print. It is consise and to the point no matter what tool or procedure one uses. It doesn't go into great detail but what information it does give is more than enough to make one much more than a beginning woodworker.

complete guide

I have a ton of woodworking books but this one book I one I use more often any due to its simplification but still informative enough to fully explain almost any task associated with woodworking. The only thing it doesn't do is build and complete the projects contained within the book. That is something you have to do yourself, with the help of the book of course.

A lot of information audiobook..

Those interested in wood joinery won't find a better book than this one. Pictures and illustrations are very clear and concise, without all the preaching and lecturing practiced by most English authors, who come across as if they consider themselves to be only people who know anything about wood joinery and wood working.

A lot of information audiobook..

Bag does what it claims to do. Fits more than you think. We didn't have any accidents on the river so I can't comment on waterproofness but it is durable. Would buy again, will probably buy again for lather expeditions.

very handy

This has to be one of the most comprehensive books on wood joinery. As a novice woodworker, the information found in this audio-book is invaluable. Even for the more experienced, I feel that there's plenty to learn here as well. As much info as you can find online about joinery, it's really nice to have a book that covers it all

simple guide

A great audio-book for new and old woodworkers. Very good , explaination of each joint, and the proper name for each joint.. I keep it in the shop bookcase, and refer to it frequently when the need to do a joint that is not commonly used, although the audio-book covers just about every joint very well.

interesting book

All you'll ever need to know about the art and the science of wood joinery thoroughly detailing purposes and applications, strengths and weaknesses, with great illustrations. Includes brief yet concise descriptions, citing both power and hand tool techniques, and leaves the choices to the woodworker.

great book for beginners

It is beautifully done. The pictures are beautiful, covers a lot of topics. I think there is enough for everyone but it is pretty basics, it is not a project book. For a beginner this would be marvelous; for an experience woodworker this is very nice to look at but you might not gain a bit of knowledge. It will take a while to take a closer look. But I do enjoy looking at all the illustrations and pictures.
