Why is negative thinking so easy and positive thinking something you have to work at? I don't know, but this book helps. It's so easy to find myself in a negative mindset and then realize I need to do something about it. Without a guide, it's hard to get out of that headspace. This book gives useful tools to use when working to get yourself back into the right mindset and will help not only overcome negative thinking and anger, but will make your overall life better! Life is better when you're happy!

The author did a wonderful job of laying out the societal history regarding the unrealistic expectations of women’s behavior. This book offers a helpful look at what can be triggers for women’s anger issues and more importantly, various tools for working through anger, such as mindfulness techniques. I highly recommend this book for those of us seeking a direction for healing!

I loved how insightful it was in regards to the body consciousness, the self-awareness of when anger starts developing in the body and mind. Spotting triggers is not an easy thing to do, because once we find them, we need then work on them, and it's incredibly uncomfortable... but as the author presents in this book, it's worth it and manageable, because we live with more joy instead of losing great moments because of harmful emotions.
