Summary

You don't have to be a wolf to show your claws, but it helps.

My five boyfriends - yes, five - are being much too patient with me. That's pissing a few people off. It seems that when living with a pack of wolves, there are certain expectations for the alpha's mate...and I suck at this. A few months ago, I had no idea shifters even existed! I just wanted a safe home, and this is it, although it's not at all what I imagined. When an ex-girlfriend decides to make my life a living hell, pack rules say that if I want to keep my place, I need to win my own fights. That's not easy when she's young, fit, beautiful, and a wolf. And I'm not.

But with the help of a few friends, a little medical advice, and a whole lot of pent-up sexual frustration, one thing is going very, very well. Five boyfriends really are better than one. I just have to balance them with my child and these new pack responsibilities.

Because, this was my second chance. I'd intended to learn how to be strong, but I was thinking more about having my own opinions and less about dominance challenges. I should be focusing on the bully picking on my daughter at school. The pack's children are being singled out by some kid, and that is a problem, but this woman will not leave me alone!

If I want to be strong, I need to stop letting others push me around. It's time for the claws to come out.

The Wolves Next Door series contains some profanity, consensual sex, and one adult woman who falls for multiple younger men.

Great listen

I loved reading the book, now listening makes me enjoy it all over again, the narrator’s really seem to get the nuances right. I’m already anticipating the last book in the series.

Absolutely Riverting!

Book two was an excellent follow-up to book one. The very unique and creative storyline didn't disappoint at all, and it just gives the listener/reader a better point of view of each character that you just fall in love with as the story deepens, that's for sure!

This series is long, so it is a big investment of your time, but honestly it is worth it. I love the relationship between all the characters, and it stays true to "pack laws." I am so disappointed that book 3, "Wolf's Pack" is not available on Audible, so I will have to wait until it is to listen to that book, I really hope it becomes available soon.

Lastly, I would like to give kudo's to Auryn for writing such a creative story that inluded a "Strong Latina Woman" and to all the narrators that brought these characters to life with the perfect voices to fit their personality and character. Well done!!

Excellent addition to the series

Just like the first book, this is an excellent production of the second book in the series. The action, intrigue, erotica and romance come to life from these actors.

3 1/2 stars

Elena is strong, loving, and loyal. Her mates are nurturing and wonderful. That being said. This book was slower for me than book 1. It wasn’t bad. There are many things throughout this book that I love. It just dragged in a few places. No matter though; I am all ready for book 3.

A nice change of pace

When I listened to the first book I was already impressed with this author but after listening to Wolf's Call I'm even more impressed. I love how Elena doesn't just jump on o bed with 5 guys she barely knows, she takes the time to think things through and come to her decision. Nothing felt rushed or fake. I love this series and this author, can't wait for the next book!
