It’s an easy listen fluff story but the female narrator is super annoyingly whiny and has a lisp. The story is a bit cringe here and there and there is a lot of rumination that’s repetitive.

Is it too much to ask not having to listen to a narrator with a speech impediment???

I actually wish there was more books- what happened to the store dude? Pups? The witch queen? The unconscious pregnant woman? Ca mon !! Recommend listening 👏👏👏 just found the next books- yippee!!

Well good story spoiled by sienna changing accents half way through for no reason at all . Everything else was very good . Good listen if you can put up with this as she suddenly goes back to a British accent.

An excellent story. Well worth a read. A little repetitive but I would recommend if you like woliand witches.

If you want a shallow, cookie-cutter reverse harem romance with shifters, this will meet your expectations. By all means, go for it! You get your vampires, witches, and shifters with a mild amount of steam and fated mates. There's even a cute little brother that needs protecting.

But that's about it.

I liked the idea of the story, a girl trying to keep her kid brother alive in a world of chaos. But by the end of the book, I didn't really feel enough interest to want to listen to the next in the series, despite the cliff hanger. The main female seemed to be mostly part of the 'my only talent is to run away' category, while being self-sacrificing and whatnot. There's an amazing world here, but it hasn't been given enough details to make it real. I waited a few days after finishing this to write the review... and I could barely remember what had happened. This is a nice forgettable romance.
