Enjoyable with good narration

Tracey Rooney does a great job bringing these characters to life.

I enjoyed the story. what I like about it is although it's part of a larger series it doesn't seem at all formulaic. It references the other books but without too much emphasis so it doesn't really matter if you haven't heard/read them. I like the way it's not all plain sailing. I enjoyed watching as they overcame what was thrown at them. Short but complete and enjoyable.

Enjoyed this novella

Hall of Hope was a short, action packed, reverse harem paranormal romance. The plot was imaginative and interesting, set in a post apocalyptic world and held my attention until the end. I liked the characters, Rihanna was independent and strong with a touch a fiestiness and I loved her interaction and banter with her 4 men. I would recommend this novella to all lovers of paranormal romance.
I listened to the audiobook version of this novel which was narrated by Tracey Rooney. She did a good job with the narration and had great pace and timing. I enjoyed listening to her narrate this novel.

The Fae Princess & Her Wolves

This was a great apocalyptic reverse harem! Rhianna ran away from the fae realm five years ago and is stuck in the destructed human realm that her people caused. She’s been running ever since with no way out and now she’s running from wolves. These four wolves, Charlie, Jacob, Mika, and Zeke, are actually her honor guard sent from her mother to protect her and bring her back home, but they’re also her mates. I loved Rhianna’s independent and stubborn personality, that she doesn’t immediately follow them when they first meet, and also the fact that she runs away from them too. I liked all of the men and their roles, but I think I always tend to go for the broody or playful ones and Jacob was definitely my favorite of the pack. Laura creates a great apocalyptic world and the humans that are willing to do anything to restore order. I wish that there was a little more romance, but at the same time I appreciated that it wasn’t overwhelming. I would have liked to see her gain more control over her powers and shift, but maybe she’ll cameo in the rest of the series or get her own full series later.
Tracey did a really good job with this narration. I loved that she gave each character their own voice, but it did feel like the accents changed quite a few times for Jacob and Mika. Her voice was very easy to listen to and kept me engaged until the very end.

Paranormal Reverse Harem

Fall of Hope by Laura Greenwood is a paranormal apocalyptic reverse harem that I listened to on audio narrated by Tracey Rooney. The book use to be titled as Wolf Blessed.

I just love Laura’s books! They always leave me begging for more! I cannot wait to dive into the second book of the series Rise of the Night (previously known as Fae Blessed).

Tracey did a great job on the narration. There were a few spots throughout the story that she repeated a sentence or phrase but not enough to distract from the story.

Needs more details in the world building

At first there was much confusion to me of what book I truly was reading. Some places called it wolf blessed, and the picture says fall of hope. So when it’s in your library the cover thumbnail will be fall of hope, then open the book, the picture says wolf blessed. If you try to search this book, it’s listed under fall of hope. Once I decided no matter the book name, I’m going to just start it up. We are immediately immersed into this world, it seemed rather abrupt. I’m hoping it will world build as it gets deeper in the story. Almost like how a book 2 would start if we were already introduced to the facts, and people. I needed more details and more world building. Def more details, of people, places, things, everything. The narrator did ok with the female, but I swear it sounded like a few of the males accents changed up a few times. I’m not trying to be Debbie downer, but this book was a bit hard for me to get into and follow along with. I’ve never read anything from this author before, or the narrator. I may check out her other works, but I’m not super sure this series is the one for me.

World building book, low steam

Tracey Rooney's voice was great for the character but she didn’t do much to differentiate between the characters- often, I didn’t know who was speaking, by voice alone. She did manage to affect an accent for a couple of the characters which was helpful.

Rhianna, a fae princess, ran away to Earth but now, Earth is post apocalyptic. She is the mate to 4 different wolf shifters, who were sent by her mother to bring her home. Now that she can’t, they have to work together to save each other from people who are trying to steal her magic. This was a world-building story, with the introduction of many other characters throughout the story. It was very imaginative. I really liked that the focus of the book was on this even though it was billed as a RH, nothing was blatant. I liked the interaction between Rhianna and her wolves.

this was a very good story, but felt a little rushed. I wish we had a little more character development, but otherwise I finished it in a day

Good Quick Read!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. This is a good quick apocalypse story. Rhianna is a strong woman that is is trying to survive in a cruel world. When her honor guard of wolf shifters come to protect her, it takes a while for them to bond. I like how the author develops this bonding process. I just wish this story was longer the so characters and their acceptance of each other was more fully developed. Guess I wish there was more romance. I thought the narrator did a great job of portraying the emotions of the characters. She held my attention the whole time.

Great start to an apocalyptic paranormal series

I enjoyed this book. I think it’s my favorite from Laura Greenwood. It’s the start of an apocalyptic series and I haven’t read one of those in a long time so I am excited to get into this one. The characters were okay.. we really didn’t get to know them at all and I am hoping that changes in the next book!

Quick and Exciting

I love the apocalyptic setting of this. Rhianna is strong, stubborn, and independent. She's been on her own for years when she meets her Honour Guard. Her story is full of excitement and danger.
I'd like to know more about the world and her life before. It's a good quick read but I do wish there was more.

Tracey Rooney's narration was good. It was easy to distinguish between all of the characters.
