Witch's Potion

I must be honest the story starts out a bit slow for me and I was really unsure of my choice. But I must say the book picks up and ends on a great note and I can't wait for the rest of the series. Mia just knows her sister is marring the wrong man, but she can't convince her not to. After the ceremony lots of secrets are revealed that will make things more clear and interesting. Nice job on the narration. Thanks audiobook obsession for the recommendation.

Witch's Potion

This is the first narration I've listened to by Sara Woulfe. The performance was well done, and her voice was very clear. I did have a small issue with the pace of the narration. It felt like it was going very slowly, almost like it was being dragged out.

I've read/listened to a few of Laura Greenwood's books. They have all been very entertaining, mostly on the shorter quick read side.

Mia is a witch and has a crush on her nextdoor neighbor Skylar. Since she needs a date for her sister's wedding she chooses to give Skylar a love potion and take him as her date. It doesn't take long for Mia to realize that Skylar isn't the one for her, especially while she's tangled up with the best man Felix. At the same time Mia is juggling a distraught sister who is about to marry the wrong man.

Witches and Paranormal's who would have thought

So interesting to see them intermix in this way. Then to hear different perceptions of how to find the mate. Or if you find the mate how it is painful to touch them. Can't wait to see where the sisters go from here.

This is the first book in the Thornheart Coven series and a perfect start. While it is a series there is a happy ever after for Mia and a wonderful way for us to get to know other people in her life. Witches, shifters and other supernaturals give you action, suspense and romance all rolled in one

Great start to series

This was a quick read and a great start to the series. It was very intriguing and keeps you pulled in until the very end. It was quite funny at parts and there's twists that you don't see coming. I loved Mia and Felix and am looking forward to more of the other sisters.

I previously read the ebook and just listened to the audio. Sara Woulfe really brought the characters to life. I highly recommend the audio.

What would you do for love?

Mia is a witch, not even a good witch, potions are her only thing. So what does she do when she decides she doesn’t want to be alone at her sisters wedding, brew a love potion for her crush. Then what do you do when you meet your true mate at the wedding. Intrigue abounds as Mia uncovers secrets and tries to keep others safe. Loved the audio Sara Wolfe did a great job. Can’t wait for the next installment. In fact I’m starting it now;)

So engaging!!

I received an ARC of this audio book in exchange for an honest review. I found the narration really brought this story to life for me and I REALLY enjoyed it!!

This short story covers a lot of ground with intrigue and magic aplenty! The plot was different and the characters were filled with spunk and secrets, it was great. Hearing this story really got me reinterested in the Thornheart family! I seriously recommend listening to this audio book today!!
