Enjoyed the story and the characters. Wasn’t keen on narrator as he kept pronouncing some words in a weird way, but it didn’t distract too much.

Interesting and a bit different

Bit long winded & over-egged the story…could have been completed sooner & more effectively.
Narrator needs to learn how to pronounce words… such as
Trough…troff….not Trow and
Nous.. nowse… not noo or nous in the french style … many more too… very irritating.

Fair storyline & characters… just long winded & padded out unnecessarily.

Enjoyable and interesting plot line, set against the backdrop of early post war England. Good characters too. Only criticism is the narrator’s odd pronunciation of some words; surprised they got past the edit. Otherwise, recommended.
