Summary

Six years after Brucie, the collie-cross with extraordinary powers, was rescued by Ginger and her four teenagers, 22-year-old Vanessa is the first of the family to fall in love. But how can she trust this when the relationship of her parents, who'd loved each other, was marred by trouble? Determined to understand what is going on in Vanessa's heart, Brucie undertakes a journey that also encompasses the unusual upbringing of her quirky and gifted young man, Zenon.

A playful "tail" with a serious heart: suitable for all listeners, female and male, aged 16 to 160!

"A poignant tale of love and family life, with all its imperfections, frustrations, sadness and humour. Full of memorable characters with a heart warming feel-good end. Someone should make this book into a film." (Richard W. Hardwick)
