worst story I read from Murakami!

boring story line
bad narration, monotonous
don't recommend especially if this 8s the first book you're reading from him as most if his other books are much better

Cleverly odd

Sadly not my cup of tea.
I love many of Murakami's later Novel's but this to me was over run with metaphors and no real heart with to many tangents'.
I must say it questions peoples true intentions in a remarkable way and Annalise's the human thought process beautifuly. I would still suggest to any Murakami readers to indulge in this book as it is the beginning of his journey as an Author....
