A lovely, gentle narrative sets the scene for Isla, a talented, but self isolated girl, whose perspective on life is shattered with an unexpected change in circumstances. An enchanting story that transports you to the beautiful islands of Scotland, lifts the spirits and warms the heart. Enjoy!

A happy tale of self realisation and gentle romance

Listen to ‘Sealed with a Kiss’ first, which sets out Kate’s and the island’s backstory.

A very good, enjoyable, light hearted story. I really enjoyed the way Isla integrated into the new hairdressers and improved it. The island characters were so interesting and well described. Not Rachel Lucas’ best, but still damn good.

I found the story flitted from one time to another too often, with no warning or pause. I found myself being confused when it went from one location and time to another seamlessly. The narrator should have paused inbetween. The narrator wasn’t the best, but was still pretty good. Her timing wasn’t great, bit fast sometimes. The general sound was a bit off too, occasionally going dull and distant for no good reason.

A very good gentle story

The narration for me was very poor. I tried so hard to keep focussed on the story, as I enjoy this author, but I find the narration too fast and more like a shopping list.

Nothing.

Loved this light happy story that still had depth of character. Dropped a star because the sound quality wasn’t great. Don’t know if it was narrator or publisher

Lovely happy story

Really enjoyed this book. Storyline somewhat predictable, but a lovely romantic tale with an authentic Scottish narrator.

Loved it.
