This was my first listen by Rebecca Jenshak. Loved Scarlett & Leo's hot story! I spent most of the book swooning everytime Leo called Scarlett "Dream Girl". Then add in a bunch of hockey players to the mix and I'm sold. Excellent narration by Desiree Ketchum & Aaron Shedlock.

I absolutely love Rebecca Jenshak and her sports romances. This is a new series, and it's off to an amazing start! Leo and Scarlett meet, destined for a fantastic night together. You know, it's the perfect match, everything clicked. He says he will call, but one thing leads to another, and when he goes to the kickoff party at his coach's house, he sees his dream girl. Who is she? Yes, it is true, it's the coach's daughter. Awkward, but not enough to give up his chance at the woman of his dreams, Leo pursues Scarlett. She is coming off a bad breakup with a racecar driver and has sworn off athletes, but there is something about this man. Will they be able to make it work? Fun! I loved this story for a couple of reasons. Leo just pushed all the right buttons for me. I love his pursuit of Scarlett. He is persistent, but romantic. Scarlett is definitely a hesitant one, but she knows where her heart lies. The use of social media is great as well, as it certainly has a relevance in today's world. And we can't forget the fabulous secondary characters, whom I can't wait to get to know better. This is a fun listen!

Aaron Shedlock is a favorite, and his portrayal of Leo is spot on! A bit arrogant, but so warm hearted it's impossible not to love him. Desiree Ketchum is Scarlett and she zones in on her personality and creates a person I can see and understand. She makes her hold her heart until she no longer can. It's a great team up of narrators and a fantastic story!

I really do love this authors work. It's so easy to sink into the couple, the sports world (whatever it may be but in this case hockey) and the friendships and just have a really darn good time. Player and coach's daughter isn't new to the genre but there wasn't the usual angst that goes with it. This was soo darn sweet. Leo was completely gone for his dream girl from the start. Scarlet is quite relatable because she not only doesn't have her life together, she really doesn't know what she's doing. And can't we call relate at least a wee bit?? Frankly this was great and I can't wait for the rest of the season. The audio was 🤌 good. I volunteered to listen to a complimentary copy of this. All opinions are my own.

This is the first book in the Wildcat Hockey Series, a Sports Romance. Scarlett and Leo's forbidden romance is sweet, funny, and heartwarming. Scarlett is beautiful, smart, supportive, and strong. Leo is handsome, kind, supportive, and caring. He is a professional hockey player, and Scarlett is his coach’s daughter, so she totally is off limits. They are perfectly perfect together. The story is is beautifully written. The supporting characters are amazing. I loved the friendship between the Wildcat's teammates, and the strong family bonds in this story. Aaron Shedlock and Desireé Ketchum did an excellent job with the narration. This audiobook is very pleasant to listen to, and I enjoyed it! This is a great start to the series, and I am looking forward for the next book in the series.
