Amazing triple narration from Lee Daniels, Connor Brown and Oliver Highpoint


Oliver is very in love with Erin' but he finds himself being pulled to his foster brother Gavin. Oliver and his foster brother Gavin have been inseparable since Gavin arrived age 15. Gavin had been abused by his mother, and does not trust or understand love. Oliver dreams of having both husband, a wife and children. Not sure if he gay or bi and wanting both Erin and Gavin

Mari Carr never disappoints. From the first book in this series, I have been hooked on each story, and the wisdom of Poppop. This story has an emotional punch with a love that is beautiful. Oliver and Erin are in love. But Oliver's dream is to find the third for his and Erin's relationship, to have that love like his parents do. His feelings pull him towards his foster brother Gavin. Gavin is attracted to Ollie, but not sure if he could ever be part of a relationship. He has been through so much, and trust is something he has a problem giving. Erin has a definite attraction to Gavin, and due to close proximity, and a tragedy I didn't see coming, the three finally take the plunge. But will this be enough to keep them together? The past is coming to throw a wrench in it all! So warm and loving, I was hooked into this threesome before Gavin was! Carr gives her characters incredible personalities and deals with relevant issues. I love how the characters cross from book to book, keeping the large family tied together, with banter and true love. It's a fabulous listen.

Continuing the narration, Connor Brown, Lee Daniels and Oliver Highpoint bring out all the emotional tugs and spicy scenes! These three dually narrate the story, adding in the occasional Irish brogue and the characters popping in from other stories using all the voices I recognized. Together, they compliment each other and keep the heat high and the love flowing.

I adore this series honestly. Each is such a sweet story of love. The patriarch, known as PopPop, always has wise advice in the ways of the heart. He is very close to his children and grandchildren. There is a run theme of him explaining the importance of each family member's name, which always seem to have some kind of tie in to the romantic couple (or trouple in this case) the story is centered around. In this case, Erin and Oliver (whose names both mean "Peace") is who brings peace to Gavin's life. Gavin has had an abusive childhood, but was adopted into the Wilder/ Collins family. He has struggled to accept love and trust the ones who genuinely love him. His past comes back into the picture, and he faces it with the help and love of Erin and Oliver. The narrators are as fabulous as usual. Lee Daniels and Connor Brown have narrated every book in the series. Adding Oliver in only added to the story. I highly recommend the whole series if someone wants some good spicy romance.
