Summary
"Wickedly Delightful. Wicked Saint starts off with a bang and simply doesn't stop." (The Lusty Literarians blog)
He stole my first kiss...and now he thinks everything else is his.
Gemma
I said no to the one person no one at this school dares to refuse.
Now I’m targeted by jealous girls, guys that compete to be the first to “break the prude”, and by him. After one kiss, the king of the school hunts me down like I’m a conquest to win. He’ll have to fight harder than that, because I’m no one’s trophy.
They all want a piece of me, but I will not bend or break for them.
No one refuses the king.
Lucas
One case of mistaken identity and a hasty kiss turned my world upside down.
The new girl refused me. Not only that, she threw down the gauntlet. That won’t stand. No one ever says no to me. This school is mine, and she’ll learn her place as a loyal follower or her life is going up in flames.
I’ll make her say yes. She’ll be screaming it before I’m finished breaking her.

Loved it!
This is my first book by Veronica Eden and I’m not disappointed! I’m a huge fan of the bully trope. Wicked Saint was awesome!
Lucas is an ahole. Even though he has feelings for Gemma, he doesn’t want to show them in public. He constantly hurting her and then will be sweet. Poor Gemma must have whiplash. Lol. But even as much as Gemma takes it, she still fights back, which I love.
Stephanie Rose & Alan Carlson both did fantastic jobs narrating. Instant fan!

Lucas and Gemma
Wow I really love bully romance lately. This is so well written and provides a wide range of feelings. The angst was just right. Gemma is a strong willed young woman and I really enjoyed seeing how she dealt with Lucas and all his friends. Lucas was definitely a guy to hate but he redeemed himself and the HEA was perfect for this couple.
I was surprised to hear that it was duet and absolutely loved it. I’m new to Stephanie Rose and Alan Carlson so will need to see what else they have done ♥️
I’m also new to this author and can’t wait for the next book of what I believe is going to be an awesome series.

Enjoyed it much more than expected.
Bully romance isn’t a trope I’ve listened too before I’ve always bypassed them due to my hatred of bullies.
I am so glad I listened as it didn’t trigger my anger as I’d expected it would.
The storyline was great and the characters drew me in I couldn’t stop listening and devoured it all in one sitting.
Veronica Eden is another new author to me along with both narrators who did an excellent job.

Whoa whiplash!
This book was so good!
Lucas Saint gave me full on whiplash! I loved it as much as I hated it. This book wasn't as dark of a bully romance as some that I have read but it was enough to make me question things.
Gemma is trying hard to get back on her feet after the move and what happened at her last school, then Lucas steals her first kiss and it's not something she plans for. She is dealing with things, but she is having a hard time with everything going on and it makes it worse when she realizes she is alone. Nobody is going to help her, but she refuses to give up. She refuses to break, for anyone.
Lucas was so sweet and had such depth to him, when they were alone but there was a mask he wore for everyone else and it hurts Gemma, constantly. It hurts her to see it and it hurts her when he treats her differently in public. She wants private Lucas, but he isn't around in public and its hard for her to deal with it.
I loved Lucas and every part to him, he was deep and meaningful and sweet and then he was a jerk and I couldn't get enough of it! I was starved for more of private Lucas but at the same time I was enthralled by public Lucas. It was intriguing to say the least.
These two narrators did FABULOUS, Alan Carlson was the perfect voice for Lucas. Stephanie Rose did a wonderful job as Gemma too! They definitely brought the book to life!

Yessss! Best Bully Romance 🖤💔🖤
I love, loved this bully romance. This isn't my favorite trope but I think this one has the potential to change that. Lucas is a true bully and Gemma is an innocent but she puts on her tuff girl boots and fights back. The chemistry between the two leaps off the page. No lulls, I listened straight through without thinking of taking a break. I also appreciate the epilogue that gives you everything. Now I'm just hoping that Devlin and Blair have a story too. The narration was great both are new to me narrators and I'll gladly listen to other books by them. Definitely worth a credit

Absolutely brilliant
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this book. The storyline is great but it’s the writing style that has captured me. Also the performance from both Stephanie and Alan is perfect.

Fantastic Narration & Angsty Romance
I am a first-time reader of Veronica Eden, but I am a huge fan of bully romances! This one sounded right up my ally! I enjoyed the angst, enemies to lovers, and the hot tension! I am excited for the next one! The narrators were amazing! This was my first time listening to these two together and I loved it!

Fabulous!
With the popular trope of high school bully as its theme, Wicked Saint runs the full gamut of enemies to lovers with confidence and style. I did want to smack Lucas and his friends quite a few times, but they grew on me. All the main characters grow in the course of the story, with a couple of notable exceptions, and I particularly liked the strength inherent to Gemma's nature. Her constancy and courage are admirable. Stephanie Rose and Alan Carson are excellent narrators. Their skill at pulling off the difficult task of duet narration is outstanding. This has been a fabulous listen!

Wicked Saint
This is probably one of the best bully romances I’ve heard in a really long time! The tension is so high between these two and the chemistry is off the charts! I listened to this book all in one go because I just couldn’t stop, it is so good. Alan Carlson is a new narrator to me but when he is paired with Stephanie Rose, it brought this book to life perfectly. Writing is also fantastic.

Childish and ridiculous
I ended up giving up on this one. I've listened to some good high school bully romance and some not so good ones but this is by far one of the worse books I've ever tried to listen to. First of all, the author focuses so much on the bullying, it came off as dumb and childish. I mean, who gets all alpha possessive about someone then trips them when they say no? The 'hero' came off as a toddler wearing grown up clothes. The writer tried to make him seem all powerful but he was just childish, a bit who couldn't tell his dad what he wants and who couldn't get his ex to leave him alone, all he did was whine all the time. My biggest pet peeve with this book though (spoiler alert) is the fact that all the characters lacked basic human decency. Even the 'heroine' saw her friend being harassed and didn't step in. Everyone at the party saw this girl being dragged away while she was saying no and trying to pull away from someone manhandling her and not one person stepped in to help? That's unrealistic. Even her brother heard the bet and witnesses people picking on his twin and did nothing about it, that's upsetting and again unrealistic as they were not rivals. Overall, save yourself the credit. Read Deviant King if you are looking for a good HS bully romance novel.

4 STARS
Bully romances are my jam and while I didn’t love this one I did really like it overall. For me the biggest issue I had was Lucas. I like bad boys and the jealous possessive guys and while Lucas was all those things for some reason to me he came off as a whiny toddler when he didn’t get his way. This is the only reason it was not a 5 star listen for me. Luckily we get is POV throughout the story otherwise I may have really hated him. Gemma on the other hand was a strong lead for me. She didn’t let the bullies know they were getting to her and she didn’t immediately roll over for Lucas. When things shift from her pushing him away to hanging out with him I would have liked to be shown more of what their relationship was like instead of being told. This book will definitely bring out all the feels especially towards the end. My heart hurt so much for Gemma even though I knew it was coming. If you like bully romances and hero’s who scream MINE then this is the book for you!
Narration was duet which I love! Alan Carlson is a new to me narrator and fit the character perfectly. I’ve listened to Stephanie Rose before and I have to say I enjoy her earlier narrations more. Sometimes she makes the characters sound stuck up and makes me think of the main lead as a mean girl which in this book is not the case. Overall the narration was a solid 4 stars and I had no problem following along.

LOVED THIS
This was my first book by this author and I gotta say, I WAS IMPRESSED!!!! I loved Gemma and Lucas! The bullying was great. Lucas was intense in the beginning and I love that in a guy. Gemma was pretty strong but not too overbearing. I just really enjoyed everything about this book and cant wait to read the rest of the series. I love it when a new author surprises me like this.

I really tried to like this...
Take my opinion with a grain of salt, but...
It's the same trope we often read, without much originality.
Stephanie Rose is a decent narrator in this book, but found her voice for Gemma (and the character) to be snotty, although I'm sure it was unintentional.
Alan Carlson just made Lucas sound bored. I was a bit annoyed. As if Alan Carlson was just there for a quick buck.

Wicked Saint
Who doesn't love a great High School bully romance? Gemma and her twin brother Alec are new in town. Alec is instantly part of the "it" crowd. He is on the football team and is fitting right in. Gemma on the other hand is doing everything in her power to stay under the radar. She use to be popular at her old school, but wants nothing to do with the popular crowd now. Everything changes when she has to pick up Alec from a party at Lucas Saint's house. Lucas is on top of the school. He is the quarterback of the Varsity team. He is bored with all the same people and parties. He has to pretend to be someone he's not. When Gemma catches Lucas's eye. This book may have a trigger warning for some. However by the end of the book Gemma and Lucas get their HEA. Alan Carlson and Stephanie Rose did a fantastic job narrating in the duet style. Can't wait to see who the next book is about!

HS bully romance
I found this to be a very enjoyable high school bully romance with characters who really easy to listen to and become one with. I found the narrators had a steady volume and kept the story line moving at a steady pace.
The story line itself was well written and really pulled the listener into the dynamics of all the characters The struggles of the characters were real and easy to identity with as well.
I hope the author writes more about some of these characters as I would love to see where some of them end up.

Good Story!
I really enjoyed this story. I loved the characters Gemma was strong character and I loved that. I also love Lucas. The book is well written and it captured my attention. The only thing that didn't do it for me was the narration it just didn't connect for me, but overall a great book and I'm looking forward to book two. 🎧 AudiobookObession 🎧 PinkFlamingoPorductions
