About this listen

The murders may be over, but my heartache is back in full force, thanks to my mother and my own misgivings.

When I return to Winter Grove early and end up relying on the pack to help me out, I’m sure it’s a new form of torture. Instead, I find myself growing closer to August and Foster. I can’t help but think they’re dragging me deeper underwater, with no intention of letting me up for air anytime soon.

To add to the confusion, a new arrival at the university has a grudge against the pack, and she knows that getting to them is easier when she’s targeting anyone who’s more vulnerable than the boys.

And that might include me, despite how much I want to stay out of it.

But when she goes after my place at Winter Grove and the pack that I might be willing to call my own, will I just let her? Or will I take a few lessons from my vile boys and show her I’m not so quick to surrender?

Wicked Girl is the second book in the Knot Their Toy duet and includes omegaverse, M/M, poly, and bullying.

While I loved the brewing romance there were some parts that didn’t need to be there - like fillers? In a way. Nevertheless, I loved the whole serial killer on campus aspect.

Definitely 🔥🔥 Loved the character growth throughout. Doesn’t come with an epilogue or anything like that however. Also you really want to start playing more card games after this one….

This book was a little different than what I expected. The plot was a little off to me, but still a great story and amazing narration. The characters seemed to come alive.

I love these characters, they are so strong and assertive. I wouldn’t mess with them. The storyline is exciting and hot as hell. A fantastic performance.

AJ was a new author to me and honestly, I’m not a big fan of PNR, but I have been trying to branch out into different sub-genres more and this was a great duet! I’m so glad I took the chance. I will be checking out the rest of her books for sure!

Wicked Girl is book two is the Knot Their Toy Duet and the epic conclusion that I’ve been waiting for! After book one ended the way it did, I have been hanging out for this book. Mercy returns to school. She’s unsure where things stand or what will happen with Dorian’s pack now that her agreement to the bet has now ended. They are basically treating her like part of the pack without her realising it anyway.

In this book, you can see her connecting with more members of the pack, not just Dorian like she was in the first book.
In this book, she starts to get closer to August and Foster. There’s not as much violence and there’s no murder in this part of the story, which has somewhat calmed down.. a LITTLE BIT. There is still this need to seek revenge and there are still people out to destroy the pack and Mercy becomes collateral damage in the process.

The heat in this book was on another level. I was not expecting this much heat. I thought book one was steamy… The heat, the link, the connection between them all is pure, it’s intense and it’s heavy and raw.
Loved it!
