Summary

Meh story, beautiful narration
I love Adam Howden, so this wasn't purchased because I liked the book or the author. He's utterly fantastic and it's worth getting it just to hear Anders read you to sleep.

Fun Story EXCELLENT narrator
I could listen to this fellow read anything I think. Loves the story alall most wisglh there was more of it. Was really happy qitrh this book other than it was short and I'd love to read more of the main character he seems so interesting.

Its ok
It's not what I was hoping it would be. The story is decent enough. The voice acting is on point, love the narrators voice. It just feels like it's lacking, like halfway through the book the writer just wanted to get it over with.

Gritty
I wasn’t sure if I could keep listening because it was such a dark tale. But after I listened to something else I came back and listened until the end. The writer and narrator did an excellent job.

Holy hotness!
This is essentially a love story tucked inside a fantasy-BDSM erotica story. It’s fairly classy and restrained (a good thing in my opinion), and I imagine I’d enjoy reading this one as a book, as well.
As for the audible aspect....my dear heavens, I would love to listen to Adam Howden read anything, up to and including the ingredients list from a box of twinkies. His voice and accent are delicious, yet he changes it for the dialogue of hero Dzer-Jinn and somehow comes up with something deeper and even more sexy. I always seem to have an issue with male narrators doing female dialogue, especially with an American accent. I did have a few instances of being pulled up by that, but it is much less frequent than in other books, probably partly due to the heroine having minimal dialogue, and much of that said in a low tone of voice. This female voice issue I have is totally subjective though, so take that bit with a grain of salt.
Overall, assuming you’re okay with the subject matter, I highly recommend. If you’re MORE than okay with the subject matter (I see you over there!) this is a do not miss!!

Great narrator!!
Since rating systems don’t really seem to work anymore (as in something receiving less than 5 stars is not worth giving a chance) I am giving this a 5 star rating with the caveat that this is a very light read. But if you have the romance package worth a listen. The standout is the narrator. Love, love, love him and I put him on par with Greg Tremblay/Greg Boudreaux with his beautiful voice. I would love to see more from this narrator!
