Summary

Best-selling author Jerry Brides (The Pursuit of Holiness, The Discipline of Grace, The Bookends of the Christian Life, and many other books) asks perhaps the most fundamental question of existence: "Who am I?" He then turns to scripture to unpack for the Christian eight clear, interlocking, illuminating answers:

  • I am a creature
  • I am in Christ
  • I am justified
  • I am an adopted son of God
  • I am a new creation
  • I am a saint
  • I am a servant of Jesus Christ
  • I am not yet perfect

A direct, honest presentation of biblical truth and all-new material from Jerry Bridges, Who Am I? demonstrates for believers that they can and should rightfully claim for themselves an unshakeable, lifelong, personal foundation of confidence in one thing and one thing alone: the gospel of a victorious, resurrected Savior.

An Excellent Alistair Begg Prresentation

If you are an Alistair Begg fan then you will be in for a treat in terms of the presentation and content of Who I Am. Begg is deliberate in his delivery of the author's message and what is truly meant in identifying who we are. A definite read for anyone who needs a deeper understanding of who we are and why.

Love the narrator!!!

Great content and performance.

I sped it to 1.5/2x otherwise it’s too slow.

Jerry Bridges has a skill for explaining stuff in ways they make living it out far easier.

I’ll revisit this one.

Freedom

Identity theft is real. Jesus said that the thief comes to kill steel and destroy but I have come that you have life to the full (John 10:10). This book sheds light on what God did to free you from sin and give you a new heart, new Spirit (2 Corinthians 5:17), new identity.
