This is a very modern tale from Patricia St John. Not as good as Star of Light and Treasures of the snow, especially in this abridged version, but nevertheless a realistic and heart-warming story.
The narrator does well when narrating, but the individual character voices made me cringe at times. The Framer started off in an angry voice and seemed to sound angry throughout, which isn’t in keeping with the story.

P St John is always good value
