Summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author J. Daniels.

Book one in the Alabama Summer series.

When Mia Corelli returns to Alabama for a summer of fun with her childhood best friend, Tessa, there's only one thing keeping her on edge - one person she'd do anything to avoid.

Benjamin Kelly. World's biggest dickhead.

Mia hates him with a fury and has no desire ever to see him again. When she decides to start her summer off with a bang and finally give away her v-card, she unknowingly hands it over to the one guy who excelled at making her life miserable, learning a valuable lesson in the process.

Always get the name of the guy you're going home with.

Ben can't get the girl he spent one night with out of his head. When she leaves him the next morning, he thinks he'll never see her again...until he sees her lounging by the pool with his sister.

Mia is determined to hate Ben even though she can't forget him.

Ben is determined to prove he's not the same guy he used to be.

What happens when the one person you wish never existed becomes the one person you can't imagine being without?

Warning: This books is recommended for listeners over the age of 18 due to strong language and explicit sexual content.

Addictive, enjoyable rom com

I loved this sexy, funny, if not very cheesy, enemies to lovers, to friends to lovers, sappy romance. The story follows Mia Corelli who returns to her childhood town to stay with her best friend Tessa Kelly, for the summer. Her only issue is Benjamin Kelly, Tessa's older, horrible brother, who used to pick on her constantly. Oh and one other thing, she's still a virgin, and yes she wants to lose that card before she sees her best friend who is as far from a virgin as you can get. What better way to lose it than with a one night stand. Although I think she should have done her homework a bit more before picking up a stranger in a bar. Thoroughly enjoyable, addictive romance, written in dual POV, with lovable characters and lots of chemistry. I loved the narration, spot on.
