Such a pleasure to listen to. A USA 🇺🇸 cozy crime. Henry James it ain't, but I enjoy this series hugely and it is so well performed with really good vocal characterization.

I’ve enjoyed all of Sam Burns’ books, but this one was absolutely excellent! The story was gripping, the writing was beautiful and the narration was perfect. Highly recommended!

I knew only two things about the book when I started it: it was written by Sam Burns and narrated by Greg Boudreaux. So of course I was sold!

And I really enjoyed the book. The book had a lot of potential and my only complain was that it could have been longer though. There were things that could have been developed and deepened. Some resolutions were then too quick and too easy for me.
But it was still an enjoyable read!

My favorite book from this author. I love a great mystery with cosy vibes, good amount of action, fluent storytelling, LGTBQ+ characters and little bit of fantasy. Ghostly side characters are always a cool addition. Some spice but not too much. One of my favorite narrators did a great job, too. I could recommend this to all who do not hate gay books and love cosy mysteries.

when I first got these books I thought they were a nice story but wasn't blown away but I have found myself coming back every few months to relisten, it's a very sweet story with some mystery and magic
