Very well read
This book wasn’t what I was expecting ,however it turned out to be excellent ,the voice of the reader was soft and a joy to listen to , the book itself was interesting and was well put together it explained the nitty gritty things about being a hangman without sensationalising the job . I have read other books about capital punishment This is the best I have come across .

Good enough
It’s ok but I wasn’t riveted, it’s just a catalogue really of executions. Bit repetitive. Narrator is good as usual (slightly dodgy Northern accent). I hoped for more mystery.
